We really enjoyed our stay at this log cabin. Much bigger than expected and we would definitely stay again. Amazing views and very private. The cabin is well kept, definitely on the Newer side and very clean. If you're looking for a quiet place, amazing views, and able to access the water from your back door, then this is the right stay for you and your family!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat from the noisy busy world, look no further. This lovely home sits on top of a wooded area with a view of the Kerr Reservoir and birders will love looking at the many birds that frequent the area, such as the cedar waxwings , blue birds, and scarlet tanager, to same a few We were able to make short trips to hike at stone mountain and grandfather mountain, then on to Blowing Rock to have a wonderful lunch at the Storie Street Grill. This property is close to several good vineyards such as Dobbins creek( my favorite) and Raffaldini to name a few.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This is our second stay at this beautiful house on the lake near Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Wake up to gorgeous views and stunning decor inside and out. Close to stores and yet it feels like your in another world. Quiet, relaxing and beautiful. The owner is easy to reach, provides all the information required and let's you enjoy your stay. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore this area and spend some quality time in a romantic and extraordinary location.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

I rented this house after staying in hotels in the area for many years and I have to say it was great experience.. The house is very comfortable, clean, and and well maintained. It was a much larger house than I expected and is well set up for a rental having 3 bedrooms all with queen size beds. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. I would not hesitate recommending this property to friends and relatives and I know that I will rent this house for many years to come.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This cabin has a great layout and the location on the water and near the many activities that western NC has to offer makes it a great rental. The owner is a pleasure to work with. Very understanding and communication is great. Would highly recommend staying here for a fun getaway!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time! The location is perfect for a Family get a way. Nice people with whom to deal with and great people in the area. Lots to do...Blowing Rock, Boone, wineries, golf and fishing...not to mention the beautiful views. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
