Come stay in our brand new 2,600 square foot mountain home that was completed in July 2009. This is a great home for a family getaway or retreat with friends. There are four bedrooms and three full baths. It sleeps up to 11 people comfortably. Bring an air mattress and sleep a couple more.
Our home is beautifully decorated and furnished. Each bedroom has huge custom built closets, dressers and night stands. There are 3 queen beds, 1 full size bed, 1 twin bed, and a full size sofa bed. Linens for beds and baths are provided.
There are two huge decks each offering 270 degree views of the Rocky Mountains. Gas grill included.
The beautiful kitchen has granite counter tops. It includes a microwave, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, dishes, cookware, and all utensils and glassware. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer.
Our house has beautiful hickory floors, tiled bathrooms, a gas fireplace, a wet bar, and cozy furniture to make you feel at home and relaxed. There are board games and a PlayStation 2, plus a library of video games, movies, and books.
There are two 32” HD flat screen TVs in the family room and living room. DVD player, cable, and broadband wireless internet are provided. (No phone.)
Nearby Attractions:
Sol Vista is less than a mile away and is the perfect family ski area. Winter Park and Mary Jane ski areas are only 15 minutes away. Other great ski areas (Steamboat Springs, Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek, and Copper Mountain) are approximately 1 hour from our house.
Four excellent public golf courses are within 20 minutes: Grand Lake, Headwaters, Pole Creek, and Grand Elk Ranch. Craig Stadler designed the course at Grand Elk.
Our house is a 20 minute drive from the historic town of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. You can enjoy additional hiking/biking trails, snowmobiling, and local restaurants.
Lake Granby is located within 15 minutes for great fishing and boating.
Hot Sulfur Springs is within 13 miles. Relax in the natural hot spring pools or enjoy any number of other spa services that they offer.

Our family lives in Richmond, Virginia and we love spending time in the mountains of Colorado. We enjoy Granby’s access to skiing, snowmobiling, fishing and golf. It's always equally fun and relaxing each visit.
Why the Owner Chose Granby
We lived in Colorado for five years and love to get back as often as possible. We bought this property so we can enjoy the skiing, golf and hiking that is easy to access from our house. The 270 degree view from the 600 sq ft of decks isn't too shabby, either.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This house makes for great family vacations. There's plenty of room to separate the kids from the adults... or hang all together for game and movie nights. There's also wireless internet for uploading your vacation photos to share while you're there... you know, to make your friends jealous.

This home provided a wonderful experience. The home was very clean and well-kept. It was roomy and cozy and provided beautiful views of the Grand Valley. The pictures really don't do it justice. The granite countertops were beautiful and the functionality of the kitchen was a great plus. Their was ample room to spread out and our extended family enjoyed every minute of it. We were close to Sol Vista where our grandchildren have learned to ski. The owners were more than helpful and easy to work with. I would recommend this property to friends and family and look forward to staying here again!

We really enjoyed the house and thought the amenities were great. It has a great floorplan, the views from the dining table are wonderful so you don't even have to go out if it's too cold! SolVista is five minutes away and they have quite a bit of activities. Also, the City Market close by has just about everything we could possibly need. I recommend seeing what is in the house before you go to the supermarket as there are some leftover things which are quite useful. Nice to be able to play in the hills just outside the house.

We stayed here for 3 nights in late Oct 2010. My group of 4 went away from our normal dingy "Motel" experience during hunting season, and decided... for a VERY comparable price...we would rent a nice house instead and we were NOT dissapointed. The owners of the home have a beautiful set up here and the house was VERY well maintained and was extremely clean. Usually after a long day of hiking and hunting, its a bit unsettling to head "home" to a dingy, small, cramp Motel room for the night. After our long, cold, wet days, we all looked forward to relaxing and un winding in this House and having all the ammenities of your own home. There is ample room, garage space, large bedrooms, great kitchen and bathrooms, washer and dryer and everything we would want right at our finger tips. Not to mention a HUGE deck with great views and very scenic. There is a grocery store, shopping, eateries and bars within a 2 mile drive so it was all just perfect. We will never stay in a Motel again for our hunting trips and will MOST definitely be back to this house for future stays. I can only imagine what a stay in the summer will hold with all the golf, fishing and hiking activities to do near by. A wonderful place for sure, Thanks again, AT

We loved your place! We enjoyed a day of skiing which was only minutes from your place and worked out great becuase we were not sure if the kids would like their first time skiing. The house was great for the kids to play video games and watch movies downstairs and the adults to enjoy some quite time upstairs by the fire. And the views....all I can say is amazing! We will be back soon, thanks again!

We were lucky enough to spend a very short working vacation at your place in early November. Accommodations were great! The weather was excellent! Just wish I could have spent more time enjoying the area! Can't wait to visit again!
