Enter through the front lobby of a stately Victorian home into a peaceful, private flat. Beautifully appointed and comfortable, the apartment opens into your own patio leading to a shared, verdant garden oasis. The unit is on the ground floor of an owner-occupied 3-level home situated in the sunniest part of San Francisco— the Historic Dogpatch neighborhood of Eastern Potrero Hill, just minutes from all the Bay Area has to offer.
Completely furnished with linens, blankets, towels, and kitchenware, the flat has a comfortable living/dining room simply decorated in a modern, relaxed style including original artwork. The fully equipped kitchen has new high-quality cookware, utensils and appliances, including an electric stove and oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, juicer and food processor. The intimate bedroom features a king-size bed with a new custom mattress and pure cotton linens. The bathroom has a shower over tub. Every room has adjustable dimmer lights. 3MBPS Wi-Fi internet access and adjustable baseboard heating are all included. Please note that there is no television in the unit, but with wireless access, movies and TV can be accessed through your laptop, if desired.
Ideal as a hotel alternative for vacationing or business, the very convenient location is 1/2 block from 22nd Street's growing assortment of restaurants and coffee shops including Piccino and Serpentine, and just down the hill from Potrero Hill’s 18th Street shops and restaurants (including Turkish, Vietnamese, Sushi, French Bistro, Pizza & Mexican) plus a bakery, wine bar, groceries and laundry. We're located two blocks from the bay, where the Blue-Greenway bike route traces the water's edge 1/2 mile to the Embarcadero downtown, then out to Fisherman's Warf--and for ambitious riders, to Crissy Field Park which leads over the Golden Gate Bridge.
We are a 3 minute walk to the TK-3rd tram line 20th street stop to downtown, as well as the 22 bus line that travels up to the top of Potrero Hill and directly into the Mission, then to the Fillmore and the Marina. Downtown is 5 minutes by car via two nearby freeways (101 and 280). There is ample street parking after 5PM and daytime parking is rarely an issue. We are 12 minutes from San Francisco International Airport.

This Dogpatch flat met all our expectations. Parking was easy although we never drove in the city given the nearby surface bus (#22) and light rail (T) stations. Nearby restaurants and breakfast cafes were very good. Lack of TV not a problem since we're big readers and the comfy chairs and great lighting assisted here. We had great weather which enhanced the view of the rear garden out back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

My wife and I stayed here in February 2013. The unit was clean bright and airy, and had everything we needed. It did not have television, which we would have preferred, but it did have wireless access. The apartment was quiet and very convenient to everything in San Francisco. Parking was available every time we needed it. Access to 280 north and south was one minute away. Of the multiple VRBO and AirbnB places we have stayed in San Francisco, this has come closest to fitting our needs.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.

My time spent at this facility was above expectations. It is decorated with high-class expertise, complete with all the provisions for an easy, relaxing, secure stay. It was quiet all hours, and a place I hated to leave. At first I thought a bit pricy, but later realized that, for S.F., and the perfect order of this "casa," I was quite satisfied. I invited my grand daughter over for breakfast the 2nd morning as I wanted to share with her as well. It was a cozy environment for a fun breakfast with her and her parents. I cannot think of anything that would improve my stay there. It was an A+!Recommended for: Age 55+.

My husband and I spent two fabulous days in San Francisco. We stayed in this wonderful flat that was filled with natural lighting, a nice large comfortable king size bed, and wonderful reastaurants to walk to! I typically stay in the downtown hotels but wanted to experience SF from a locals perspective and this fit the bill perfectly. The owners provided me with a lot of places to eat locally (loved eating breakfast at the PLOW - wow super great food - so good we ate there twice!!) and loved just being able to walk out the door and grad fabulous coffee at Piccos. Parking was not an issue because we were there on a weekend so we had plenty of spots to park. We walked to downtown SF (about 2 miles away) and loved just gettingn to know the city. I high recommend this unti! We would definetly come back again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We stayed in this unit for 3 days while in town for some medical tests for my husband, and then flew out of SFO. We found the unit as described, with a Very comfortable bed and bedding and everything you need for a few days stay in SF, especially if you need to be close to China Basin or SFO. We are very accustomed to watching the morning news and some TV in the evenings so we missed having a TV, but were able to get NetFlix on our laptop, There is a nice selection of reading material and I would probably have enjoyed just sitting and reading if the living room chairs were more comfortable. Aside from that the unit is well appointed and Clean! The arrangements were easy and owners very nice. Parking is available but can be challenging at certain times of the day. There is a cafe that is open for breakfast & lunch just around the corner that is pretty darn good too.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.

I spent two nights at this property and both me and my bf enjoyed it very much. It's very clean, well maintained, and just pleasant. The location is great, there's a lot of great local foods within walking distance. The owners are very helpful in answering all questions. I had concern about parking but they answered my questions prompty and in detailed. Honestly, at first I was concerned with the fact that the property does not have TV and I am a big TV person, but they provide free wifi, so I was able to use my IPAD/Laptop. Parking on the street was easy. Checkin in and out were very convinient. I definitely would recommend this place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We loved our short stay in San Francisco and loved the convenience of this flat to our daughter's flat in the area. The owners were most helpful and let us leave our luggage in the foyer since our flight arrived early in the day. The flat was nicely decorated and clean. We will be back!Recommended for: Age 55+.

I enjoyed staying here with my husband. The apartment is very comfortable and clean, and the little garden in the back was so lovely. We even saw a humming bird in the garden one day which blew our minds (visiting from NYC). It's super quiet as well. That plus a king sized bed = good sleep.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.
