Why the Owner Chose Newry:
Sunday River is one of New England's largest ski resorts. It has beautifully groomed trails and the most modern lifts. There are slopeside restaurants and a spa. Nearby Bethel is a quaint town with unique shops and excellent restaurants. Sunday River Road is just a mile away and has several great spots for apres-ski. The Award-winning Golf Course is just 2 miles up the road. It has stunning views and a gorgeous clubhouse.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
There is cross country ski trail access directly across the street. The historic covered bridge is just a short walk from the house. Snow mobile trails are also accessible from the house. The garage is the perfect place to store them overnight during your snow machine vacation. The road to the house is flat, so it is never a problem in icy weather. White Heat, the longest, steepest trail at Sunday River can be seen from the driveway. There are 2 large bay windows overlooking the cozy wooded yard.
