Shop on foot for kitchen staples at a neighboring supermarché or select your petit déjeuner of croissant and baguette from several local boulangeries. ‘La Réserve’ public beach, an intimate, uncrowded bathing spot, is also within a short walking distance, and a brief stroll to the Port offers lots of dining choices, including nearby ‘Chez Pipo’ for arguably the best “socca” in Nice. Or just wander by the harbor’s edge and enjoy the exotic yachts and colorful classic Nicois fishing boats.

We live in rural Vermont with our three beautiful children, but also have a real sense of place and connection with Nice. Scott is the sole-proprietor of a modest home building and remodeling company, North Chapman Builders, and Olivia is an artist, currently in school.
