I stayed here in January and it was great. The condo is beautiful. There is nothing like waking up and looking out over the city. I love the Gastown location, the building is impressive and unique as well. You have access to some of the best restaurants in the city within a 5 minute walk. For breakfast/lunch you have Cafe Medina, lunch you have Meat and Bread and dinner you have Chambar which are all amazing. I highly recommend this condo and can't wait to book it again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

On a recent visit to Vancouver we were lucky enough to stay in this condo. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is a piece of city chic. We would get up early each morning just to have a coffee and enjoy the amazing views of the city, Burrard Inlet and the majestic mountains of The North Shore. Location of the condo is ideal. A few minute walk to the centre of Downtown with all its entertainment and restaurant choices. Only Steps to the Waterfront station which is one of the transit hubs in the city. Getting to and from The Vancouver Airport was very quick and inexpensive using the Canada Line (which is pretty close to door to door service). I used to pay approx $50 for a taxi and this trip was less than $10 and much, much faster. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment one would require. 2 choices of supermarkets within a 5 minute walk allowed us to easily stock up on supplies so that we could prepare many of our meals. Nothing could be easier than booking directly with Nina. She is a very honest, reliable and helpful person. She is fair in her pricing and is more than happy to help out in any way possible. If your searching for your little slice of Vancouver paradise I recommend you start your search here.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We loved exploring the area and seeing so many of the attractions your city has to offer for families. We found that Bowen Island was also a great escape from the crowds. It's so easy to get to and a nice ferry ride. Perfect for hikes with wild raspberries on the trail! Warmly, Heather, Shawn, and Corbin (6 mos)Did you find this review helpful? Our one week stay in Vancouver at Nina and Eric's condo was a wonderful experience. We shared the unit with two friends of ours and all agreed that the views from the 38th floor condo were spectacular and breathtaking. The 2 bedroom/2 bath unit was nicely appointed and fully equipped. We especially liked the washer/dryer unit which came in very handy as well as exercise facility located on the top floor with its 270 degree views of all of Vancouver! Wow! The unit is centrally located and an easy walk to Gas Town, Canada Place, the Waterfront and Old Chinatown. Local transit including the ferry to North Vancouver and the Skytrain to just about anywhere in Vancouver was within a short walk from the condo. In short, this place had it all including our very accommodating landlord Nina. This was our third stay in Vancouver and far and away our best stay. Thank you Nina and Eric so much for a great week!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you, Dennis and Celia! We're so happy you enjoyed our place. It was a pleasure having you as our guests. Take care and warm regards, Nina

Eric, Nina, and Ashton: Thank you for sharing your condo with us. We had a great time in Vancouver and the view from your condo is spectacular! We will recommend it to the music community in Nashville, TN. Thanks for all the insight into the surrounding area. We visited Granville Island and drove to Whistler, unbelievable! Thanks again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We have had a wonderful time enjoying your beautiful apartment. We have never lived so high up! We have explored downtown Vancouver and Granville Island, walked the Seawall to Stanley Park and spent a gloriously sunny day up Grouse Mountain admiring those breath-taking views and enjoying all the wildlife and demonstrations. We have found your apartment to be light, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Many thanks!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a beautiful unit and view. This is a wonderful city with so much to do. We rented bikes at "Spokes"- Denman and Georgia- and did the Seawall around Stanley Park. Free shuttles are available at Canada Place to see Granville Island and Capilano Bridge. There a city bus - 236- that took us from the Cap Bridge on up to Grouse Mtn. We took the "Grind" trail. It was 2hrs of a "stair-stepper" set in nature. We took the Prince of Whales day tour to Victoria to see Butchart Gardens and the city- all very beautiful. But we really lucked out on the whale-watching part. We saw 25-30 orcas- MAGNIFICANT! Great time! Thanks.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a spectacular view of the city! We were wise to use public transit- so easy to maneuveur around the city. Stanley Park- biking the seawall. Chinatown Granville Island, Grouse Mountain, Lynn Canyon, North Vancouver. We still have so many more fun adventures here but one week was too little time. Perhaps we will return and, if we do, we'll contact you. Water Street Cafe, The Rogue, Steamworks for good food. Malone's for ale. Everywhere, good shopping. Thanks for your kindness!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

About the owner: When Eric first came to Vancouver several years ago on a business trip, he was stunned by the natural beauty and vibrancy of the city and immediately decided he had to move here! Shortly after settling in, Eric met Nina, a proud Vancouverite. Nina wasted no time in teaching Eric how to snowboard on the local mountains, together with Whistler, and they have been snowboarding together ever since. They both feel very fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and can enjoy so many things that the city has to offer. They originally bought this condo for themselves, but as the crew has expanded with a recent addition of a newborn son, they decided to stay put in their current home in the suburbs and have this condo to host travelers who would love the city as much as they do!
Why the Owner Chose Downtown:
We decided to buy in the Woodward's District development in Gastown as we both love the unique vibe and the historical character of the neighborhood. As one of the original neighborhoods of Vancouver, it oozes nostalgic energy and is once again on the upswing, becoming the trendy, chic area of the city.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
CLUB W, located on the top two floors of the building, has a large-scale media room (including HD TVs), lounge area, pool tables, small climbing wall, exercise center, outdoor hot tub, and outdoor BBQ area. Not to mention amazing 360-degree views of one of the most spectacularly situated cities in the world. From the rooftop vantage point you can take in views of downtown Vancouver, the far off Gulf Islands, the local mountains, Burrard Inlet, Mount Baker, and much more!
Most day-to-day items you’re liable to want can be found at the ground-level stores located within the Woodwards development which include: London Drugs (more than just a drugstore, it also sells a wide variety of consumer goods such as housewares, toys, magazines, general electronics, computer supplies, cameras, etc.); Nestor's Market (upscale grocery store and deli); and TD Trust Canada Bank.
Our building is in the heart of historic and trendy Gastown. Where your choices include shopping at super-chic and funky boutiques, relaxing and unwinding at the neighbourhood pubs and clubs, and experiencing great dining at a cornucopia of nearby restaurants. Or stroll through some of the other downtown neighbourhoods (such as Coal Harbour, Yaletown, the West End, or Chinatown) and enjoy their unique ambience. They’re all within walking distance.
We’re also located just 2 blocks from Waterfront Station- the main downtown transportation hub. From there (via the Canada Line skytrain) you’re at the Vancouver International Airport in 25 minutes. Or, if you hop on the Seabus, you’re on a 15 minute cruise over to the beautiful North Shore. Attractions there include Lonsdale Quay, Grouse Mountain, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, and Cypress Mountain - the home of the snowboard events for the 2010 Olympics!
