I stayed here in January and it was great. The condo is beautiful. There is nothing like waking up and looking out over the city. I love the Gastown location, the building is impressive and unique as well. You have access to some of the best restaurants in the city within a 5 minute walk. For breakfast/lunch you have Cafe Medina, lunch you have Meat and Bread and dinner you have Chambar which are all amazing. I highly recommend this condo and can't wait to book it again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

On a recent visit to Vancouver we were lucky enough to stay in this condo. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is a piece of city chic. We would get up early each morning just to have a coffee and enjoy the amazing views of the city, Burrard Inlet and the majestic mountains of The North Shore. Location of the condo is ideal. A few minute walk to the centre of Downtown with all its entertainment and restaurant choices. Only Steps to the Waterfront station which is one of the transit hubs in the city. Getting to and from The Vancouver Airport was very quick and inexpensive using the Canada Line (which is pretty close to door to door service). I used to pay approx $50 for a taxi and this trip was less than $10 and much, much faster. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment one would require. 2 choices of supermarkets within a 5 minute walk allowed us to easily stock up on supplies so that we could prepare many of our meals. Nothing could be easier than booking directly with Nina. She is a very honest, reliable and helpful person. She is fair in her pricing and is more than happy to help out in any way possible. If your searching for your little slice of Vancouver paradise I recommend you start your search here.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our one week stay in Vancouver at Nina and Eric's condo was a wonderful experience. We shared the unit with two friends of ours and all agreed that the views from the 38th floor condo were spectacular and breathtaking. The 2 bedroom/2 bath unit was nicely appointed and fully equipped. We especially liked the washer/dryer unit which came in very handy as well as exercise facility located on the top floor with its 270 degree views of all of Vancouver! Wow! The unit is centrally located and an easy walk to Gas Town, Canada Place, the Waterfront and Old Chinatown. Local transit including the ferry to North Vancouver and the Skytrain to just about anywhere in Vancouver was within a short walk from the condo. In short, this place had it all including our very accommodating landlord Nina. This was our third stay in Vancouver and far and away our best stay. Thank you Nina and Eric so much for a great week!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you, Dennis and Celia! We're so happy you enjoyed our place. It was a pleasure having you as our guests. Take care and warm regards, Nina

We loved exploring the area and seeing so many of the attractions your city has to offer for families. We found that Bowen Island was also a great escape from the crowds. It's so easy to get to and a nice ferry ride. Perfect for hikes with wild raspberries on the trail! Warmly, Heather, Shawn, and Corbin (6 mos)Did you find this review helpful? Although our expectations were very high, given the property description and excellent reviews, this luxury 38th floor downtown condo actually exceeded our expectations! The building is very well maintained and operated. The condo is extremely well furnished, immaculately cleaned, with inspiring views, in a safe and great location, with enthusiastic and helpful owners. There were no disappointments! My son, one of his college buddies, and myself stayed in this fantastic condo during their spring break. The focus of our visit was to ski and snowboard the local mountains, and enjoy a little rest and relaxation (R&R) in Vancouver, BC. The location was perfect. We were within approximately 30 minutes of Cypress, Grouse, and Seymour mountains. We were located around a multitude of fine restaurants, clubs, shopping, and local sights all within a few blocks. We squeezed in a Canucks game and a night at the comedy club, both within walking distance or a short cab ride. Nina was very helpful and made sure that the condo had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. She showed us around the condo, toured us through the building ensuring that we were aware of all the amenities, and that we were familiar with the workings of the parking garage located below the building. Nina was very prompt with all matters relating to reserving the condo and equally prompt in returning the security deposit. The owners are very kind, honest, and dependable. We absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the downtown Vancouver area. If you have high standards, expect a very clean well-kept place, and want a great location, consider this great property. Go Canucks!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I stayed at Eric and Nina's terrific condo for two weeks while visiting family in Vancouver, and from the first minute I was able to feel right at home in the city. The furnishings and amenities were excellent, including fully equipped kitchen with grocery store next door, and in-suite laundry unit. Having plenty of space and comfort, especially in such a vibrant neighborhood, allowed me to get out on the town, chill in the apartment, or get down to work as the mood struck. The full-size desk and plenty of counter space made it easy for me to make progress on a writing project. Eric and Nina were warm, welcoming (complete with local restaurant recommendations) and responsive (hassling the building management for me when the heat concked out during a cold snap), while never intrusive. I would definitely stay again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Eric, Nina, and Ashton: Thank you for sharing your condo with us. We had a great time in Vancouver and the view from your condo is spectacular! We will recommend it to the music community in Nashville, TN. Thanks for all the insight into the surrounding area. We visited Granville Island and drove to Whistler, unbelievable! Convenient location, clean and spaceous appartment with huge closet space but limited dresser storage. The W majority of the residents at the W are 20 and 30 somethings but we middle-agers with teens never felt our of place. The grocery store in the ground floor of the complex and the car garage were very much appreciated. The owners were very helpful and made a number of suggestions for restaurants which we appreciated. A short walk to tourist buses, Canada Place and skytrain (subway). Lots of great tourist and local places to eat or have a coffee; please try Water Cafe and The Alibi.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have had a wonderful time enjoying your beautiful apartment. We have never lived so high up! We have explored downtown Vancouver and Granville Island, walked the Seawall to Stanley Park and spent a gloriously sunny day up Grouse Mountain admiring those breath-taking views and enjoying all the wildlife and demonstrations. We have found your apartment to be light, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Many thanks!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a beautiful unit and view. This is a wonderful city with so much to do. We rented bikes at "Spokes"- Denman and Georgia- and did the Seawall around Stanley Park. Free shuttles are available at Canada Place to see Granville Island and Capilano Bridge. There a city bus - 236- that took us from the Cap Bridge on up to Grouse Mtn. We took the "Grind" trail. It was 2hrs of a "stair-stepper" set in nature. We took the Prince of Whales day tour to Victoria to see Butchart Gardens and the city- all very beautiful. But we really lucked out on the whale-watching part. We saw 25-30 orcas- MAGNIFICANT! Great time! Thanks.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a spectacular view of the city! We were wise to use public transit- so easy to maneuveur around the city. Stanley Park- biking the seawall. Chinatown Granville Island, Grouse Mountain, Lynn Canyon, North Vancouver. We still have so many more fun adventures here but one week was too little time. Perhaps we will return and, if we do, we'll contact you. Water Street Cafe, The Rogue, Steamworks for good food. Malone's for ale. Everywhere, good shopping. Thanks for your kindness!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thank you for opening your home to us. Vancouver is a fun and vibrant city. The location is great. Walking distance to the resaurants in Gastown and close to the "Big Bus", our around Vancvouver choice of transportation! We took trips to Victoria and to Whistler both very different and still able to see on daytrips. Our favorite Vancouver resaurant was Joe Fortes for steak and seafood lovers.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thanks for helping to make our vacation with old, dear friends (we all turn 4-0 this year!) so fabulous! The apartment is BEAUTIFUL, as are your city AND country. Being here for Canada Day was a treat, as were Stanley Park and Wild Whales of Vancouver. So much to see & do-- we may have to come back! Dawna & Nate, Dubois, PA What a fantastic time we had in Vancouver! We really enjoyed meeting Ciara at The Blarney Stone and our last night's meal at Six Acres. Our daytrip to Victoria was fantastic & can't recommend enough going to Butchart Gardens. Loved the location of this apartment for everything we wanted to do. The four of us totally enjoyed four great days and nights in (the condo)...and in Vancouver. Eric and Nina are the best! Also, outside the condo, put "The Alibi Room" on Alexander (a 5 min walk) on your must-do list if you're a beer afficienado. Great beer, great food. Tojo's is fantastic...but pricey...and for a day ouf of town, the zip line tour in Whistler is tremendous!!! Cheers.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This new and immaculately clean unit in the heart of the Gastown neighborhood was a perfect getaway homebase for two couples. The owners were extremely accommodating, and available by phone for any questions, no matter how small. The surrounding neighborhood offers an abundance of restaurants within easy walking distance. One our our favorites that we enjoyed three times during a four day stay was The Alibi Room on Alexander Street...just 5 minutes away.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at this Gastown location for 4nights in April 2010. The location was amazing for visiting all sites within the city and in the evening the bar's & restaurants within Gastown are but a short stroll away. The condo is tastefully & freshly decorated with everything you could possibly want for your stay, making the experience very comfortable. The view from all of the floor to ceiling windows and the spacious balcony is stunning by day & spectacular by night. The owners Nina & Eric were a pleasure to deal with & supplied us with outstanding information about local restaurants & attractions. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone & hope to stay there again when next back in Vancouver.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Just spent five fabulous days at this lovely condo during the unforgettable 2010 Olympics. We could not have asked for anything more from our stay... the condo is impeccable and the owners have covered all of the bases. The gorgeous Woodward building is a wonderful "home-base" that is walking distance to a plethora of must-see Vancouver attractions. We give this place an enthusiastic two thumbs up and look forward to returning there again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
