Our duplex home was recently remodeled and is located on a beautiful wooded lot in upper East Vail. Our home is 1,750 square feet. We have 3 spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms. One bedroom (queen bed) and bathroom is on the main level. The main level bathroom has a full-size tiled shower with bench and a full washer/dryer. The other two upstairs bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with tub/showers and glass doors. One upstairs bedroom (queen bed) is the master with a private balcony. The other upstairs bedroom (two twin beds) also has a sleeping loft with a queen mattress. The main level features a very large living room with a 20 foot redwood ceiling, glass doors leading to a large deck and wooded views. There is a large leather couch, flat screen cable tv/vcr and gas fireplace. The dining room table can seat 8-10 comfortably. The kitchen has a jenn-air oven/gas burners and grill. There is an eating counter as well. We have a 1 car attached garage with ski storage. We have a snow plow service which plows as necessary.
Our home is located about 5 miles from the Vail Village ski lifts and about 1/2 mile from the Vail Racquet Club. We are about 3 blocks from the free town of Vail bus stop. We can arrange for guests to use the Vail Racquet Club for a small fee. The amenities include a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and workout facilities. There is cross country skiing and snow shoeing in the immediate vicinity.

Year Purchased: 1978
We built this home on a beautiful wooded lot as our vacation home. We are a family of avid skiers and enjoy biking, hiking and all the recreational and cultural features which the Vail Valley offers. We have rarely rented our home. We recently remodeled and upgraded it. Our home is our weekend and holiday destination for our family and friends. The photo is of Gene and our daughter, Jenny, who recently was married in Vail.

All bedrooms have ample closet/storage space. Linens/towels, humidifiers and hair dryers are provided. The kitchen is fully equipt for gourmet cooks.
