Palmas Del Mar is located on the south-east part of Puerto Rico a 60 minute drive from the San Juan (SJU) airport. The property encompasses 2700 acres with 600 hectares designated as wildlife preserve areas and has miles of walking, jogging and golf cart paths. Palmas is located 60 minutes from historic Old San Juan. It’s an easy 45 minute drive from Palmas del Mar to the El Yunque National Rain Forest and a 25 minute drive to the bioluminescent bay in Fajardo.
Several boat charters operate from the Palmas Marina offering half and full-day sails to Vieques and Culebra and Virgin Islands along with deep sea fishing charters and scuba diving charters. There are 2 championship golf courses designed by Rees Jones and Gary Player, a casino, an equestrian center, there are more than twenty tennis courts in the Resort. There are more than 15 different restaurants within the resort grounds from pizza to gourmet food and some of them deliver to your villa.
