Amazing holy week vacation...

We stayed on the apartment for the Holy Weekend and it was awesome. The apartment itself was clean, completely equipped and ready to be occupied. The villa is waking distance from the beachfront and the three pools are only steps away from the entrance of the Villa. The kitchen was ready to go. We are a young couple that wanted to stay within premises, so having kitchen utensils, plates and functional appliances was a must in our wish list for our vacation villa. This apartment has it all. Appliances are in excellent conditions. It was easy for me and my boyfriend to just walk in from the beach and cook whatever we like and it only took minutes to have any meal prepared. Every morning we ate breakfast at the kitchen bar area, and in the evenings we had special dinners in the outside, with a pretty pool and beach view. The beach at this side of the Palmas Resort area is very clean and perfect to have a day out. The complex includes security and people that helped you with your beach chairs and with anything else you may need to be confortable and secure. However, if you are scare of fishes (like me) you may prefer the pool area. The weekend we stayed was a busy one; the complex was full of local people enjoying their own properties. If you want to be in a more quite ambience, you may prefer to check the local holiday list and stay away during those days. Palmas include a lot of amenities, and as a villa guest, you may enjoy some of them. The Four Seasons at Palmas is walking distance from the complex, there you may find restaurants, café from the David’s Cookies chain (not the best, but is ok for those of you craving some sweets), a casino and a pool area reserved for the hotel’s guests. The shopping area, called Palma Nova, has Mexican, Chinese, Latin and steak restaurants. You may find a grocery store and a Wine Cellar if you enjoy having wine with your friends and family. Their wine list seems to be long and well selected. If you play tennis or golf, you are available to make pertinent arrangements. In overall this was a perfect vacation. We want to use this review to thanks Enrique for sharing his villa with us, and for making our stay perfect and trouble free. I definitively recommend this Villa, you wouldn’t have any regrets staying here.

Stayed here with my wife and 11-year-old daughter for a week in February 2011. Perfect for our needs. We did day trips on three days, and just hung out the rest of the time. LOVED the walkout patio ... onto the grass ..... and into the pool .... and/or the ocean.... Master bed is a king and very comfortable. The unit is cozy, and it might be tight with 2 kids/teens (or with four adults), but with the right mix it's very doable. Kitchen is small, but that didn't keep us from enjoying home-cooking for most of our meals -- and shopping is convenient (with a car). WiFi worked fine. The Crescent Beach development was never empty, but it was never too loud or too crowded. Really liked that the pool has a lot of shaded sitting area. The staff keep the grounds and pool in great shape. Great place to get in some walking -- either on the beach or on the sidewalks/golfcart paths that are all over Palmas del Mar. Also a great base for daytrips -- El Yunque rain forest, bioluminescent bay, the islands, beaches at Luquillo and Fajardo, snorkel/sail excursions, even old San Juan (~1 hour). Enrique is a pleasure to deal with, and I would definitely recommend this unit to a friend or relative. Under "recommendations", this online review form doesn't include "Getaway for one", but I'd also recommend this unit for someone just looking for some quiet relaxing by him/herself.

Coming Home Back to Palmas

Back in the 1970s I worked at Palmas; the development of this beautiful track of land. Through the years it has gone through many changes, but its beauty is still there. I decided to visit some of my relatives and stayed at this condominium for a few days. The condominium has all the amenities needed. Beautiffully appointed, as well. It is perfect for playing or relaxing. The ocean is right there; that ocean smell that only can be sensed from a Caribbean beach; Vieques and Culebra islands at a distance. Dealing with the owner? A breeze. Do I fully recommended? You bet.

I rented this property just going by the description since I needed a place to stay over the weekend starting on a Thursday night in order to attend the wedding festivities of my nephew. This property is exactly like the description. It is well maintained, clean and fresh. The owner was a delight to deal with. He made the rental a very easy and pleasant experience. The apt. is close to the beach that if you leave the doors slightly opened, the waves will put you to sleep. The apt.is small enough to fit your needs yet has everything you can ask for, spacious bedroom, complete kitchen, laundry, efficient bathroom, two tvs, and a cozy balcony. I want to thank the owner for making this experience such an unforgetable one. I give it two thumbs up and recommend it highly.
