Palm Desert Resort and Country Club is located in the heart of country club row in beautiful Palm Desert. The resort is a gated community of 960 privately-owned duplex homes, and is only a short 25 minute drive from the Palm Springs Regional Airport. The huge Palm Desert Town Center Mall is only minutes away, and the elegant shops of world-famous El Paso Drive are close by. The resort is surrounded by the spectacular views of the Santa Rosa, San Jacinto, and San Gorgino mountains.
Palm Desert Resort and Country Club offers an 18-hole, par 72 regulation golf course (the course is a true recreational layout featuring lush double-wide fairways), the community has 20 pools that are heated during the winter season, and each one has a companion hot therapy spa. Thirteen tennis courts are available daily and are lighted for evening play. The spacious 42,000 square-foot full-service clubhouse features a very comfortable lounge and a dining room overlooking a huge lake and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.
Our vacation home is a ground-floor, single-story townhome, with a large patio opening onto the golf course and looking across the golf course and greenbelts to the mountain views. The kitchen and living room are in the center of the home with a bedroom and bathroom on each side, all three with sliding glass doors onto the patio.
For recreation, the condominium is within easy reach of the desert cities with shopping, dining and entertainment. Hot-air ballooning is available within a few easy miles' drive, as well as many casinos.
