Welcome to Watchmere! This beautiful 4+ bedroom light-filled home is situated on a large private landscaped lot, one block off the bike path which leads to South Beach (one mile), and historic Edgartown (1.5 miles).

Inside, the second floor open living space plan includes kitchen, dining area, and sunny family room with fireplace, all in one stunning great room with airy cathedral ceilings and skylights. Three sliding glass doors from the second floor provide access to the large deck overlooking the new gunite heated pool and jacuzzi, where you can relax in one of the many hammocks throughout the house, or enjoy an evening family BBQ under the pergola. There is also a half bathroom and equipped office/bedroom located on the second floor. The family room has a 50'' Plasma TV /DVD/ Satellite cable with all premium channels included. Wireless internet is available throughout the house.

The first floor living space includes three large bedrooms, the Master with King size bed and private full bath, one Queen, and one with two Twins. There is another full bath on the first level in addition to the full bath in the Master. The Master and Queen bedrooms have sliding door access to the large lower level deck, which has two more hanging hammocks, seating area and a private outdoor shower. The new heated gunite pool and jacuzzi area is the perfect place to relax in the sun or enjoy a swim with the kids. There is also an outdoor fireplace where you can cook smores with the kids or just enjoying a cozy evening fire. The laundry room is conveniently located on the first floor as well.

The home also has a newly renovated full basement, which is a perfect getaway for the kids or can be used as a 4th bedroom. The room is equipped with two pull-out sofas, (one full size bed and one twin size bed), large Plasma TV/DVD/Premium cable stations. A full bathroom is also located in the basement. The three bedrooms on the main floor have a/c window units.

There are also 5 mountain bikes, 2 Kayaks and a large outdoor tent set up for the guests stay. This is a pet friendly house with an electric dog fence around the perimeter.

This house is filled with wonderful features that will make for a truly carefree vacation. The wonderful location lets you take advantage of all that Martha's Vineyard has to offer: miles of bike paths, exquisite beaches, boating, kayaking, running trails, fishing, shopping, historical sights,museums, and fine dining.

This place was un-real! It was so much better then what I expected. We rented this place for 2 nights last august. We had planned on going to the beach and exploring the vineyard but once we arrived we were like we are never leaving. It was so comfortable and clean. The owners were so easy going and helpful. I highly recommend this place!!!

Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
