The luxury villa has a private swimming pool. The house is built on the the east facing mountains of island of Lefkada and has been built to very luxurious standards. Equipped with both air-conditioning and central heating, it makes it suitable to rent in all seasons. The large plot where the house is built on, was originally an olive-groove and the surroundings of the house have been maintained as much as possible to maintain the ‘country feel'.
There's a separate BBQ area with a very large gazebo for plenty of shade around the house, where one can enjoy the splendid views from a sun bed. The house has been built on a quiet hillside on the east side of Lefkada, just 5 min. north from the town of Nidri, so in a few minutes you're close to restaurants, beaches and other facilities. The house will give you some of the most picturesque views around.

Year Purchased: 2005
We have been big fans of the Ionian Islands since 1995 for sailing. After having kids we also started exploring the islands and we got to love Lefkada. In 2005 we decided to buy a holiday house on the island. We thought we would come her once a year. But after getting to know the island better, we try to come here as often as we can. We've fallen more in love with the island and the house every time we come. The house has a very special location - first of all the view is breathtaking, but secondly it's the peace that the house and it's gardens have. In a very private location with the well kept olive grove around it, the private pool and the large shade deck in the garden, there is a place for everybody to go to and feel happy. Why the Owner Chose Lefkas
Lefkada is a small island in Greece with still little tourism. The nature of the island and the beaches are stunning. The benefit of Lefkada is that it's not fully an island. There is still a bridge that connects the island to the mainland. Therefore it's easy to reach from the nearby airport of Preveza.

Our house is located nearby the town of Nidri and Lefkas, which give you quick access to lots of restaurants and activities. However, due to the location of the house, the house is very private and quiet. There is no noise from the road or amenities in Nidri. So it combines easy of reach of facilities close by with privacy and stunning natural beauty.
