The cottage is at 1009 Thrasher Court, in West Beach near the Cougar Point Golf Course. It is located at the end of Thrasher Court on a quiet cul-de-sac. The cottage is conveniently located near the beach, a free community swimming pool, the Straw Market, Cougar Point Golf Course and Kiawah tennis. All these places are only a five to eight minute walk. The cottage is less than a mile from Kiawah's Main Gate and is within two miles of the Freshfields Shopping Center near the entrance to Kiawah Island. Charleston is about 21 miles away.
No pets are allowed. The cottage is smoke free.
This cottage (not a condo) is a favorite of families with small children. It is quiet and has a safe play area, away from traffic.

One of the best vacations I have ever had! House was beautiful, wonderful furnishings, very clean, as if I had been living there myself! Loved the porch, surrounding deck, and the beds were very clean and comfortable. So nice to get on the bikes for a short run to the stores, pools, and the ocean. We will definitely be back! It was so quiet and relaxing - very hard to leave! We shared the cottage with another couple and it was set up perfectly for this! We enjoyed eating our breakfast on the patio together every morning! Thank You, D&D

This cottage is in a wonderful location on the island, a quick walk to the beach, neighborhood pool, lagoon, straw market and bikes trails. The house is nicely laid out with a split bathroom and includes a wrap-around deck & screened-in porch. Overall a wonderful value!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

My wife and I have been going here for 17 plus yrs! It is a very special cottage for us. The pictures are accurate with fresh appearance and plenty of amenities so a relaxing time can be spent with little worries. The owners employ a cleaning and maint. service, so any needs or repairs are handled immediately. (there have been few, so few I can't remember; like lights bulbs, maybe. The porch is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner (up in the trees) in any weather. Living/dining area is very pleasant and well appointed; great couch for TV or naps. Kitchen is galley style with pass thru to the porch and has a collapsible table.Microwave, coffee pot, dishes, pots/pans are all provided, so nothing to bring. The owners provide bikes at no charge and we always took advantage to ride the many trails or to the ocean or our favorite pool on the planet! The ocean is a moderate walk as is the pool but plenty of parking is avail too. Charleston 45 min. away for sight seeing and shopping. There are plenty of great restaurants just outside the gate as is an upscale grocery store. A small shopping village is also there with all sorts of stores and shops. But the best thing about the cottage is that it in itself is peaceful and accommadating for 2 to 6 people for however you want to vacation. We go at least twice a yr and can't wait to return

The condo has everything a family could need for a relaxing vacation. Located within a short walk to a beautiful beach, a nice relaxing pool and great ice cream and shops at the Straw Market. Beach in the morning, bicycling in the afternoon, fresh seafood for dinner and the beautiful city of Charleston nearby. What more could you ask for?

Renters have access to a large, well-maintained community pool. There are lots of places to walk. The condo has a well-equipped kitchen. There was even a panini grill. It's very feasible to drive to Charleston for the day, although you may love Kiawah Island so much that you will just want to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We enjoyed the area and the condo.
