Our home is located in Sun City, Palm Desert in a gated, 1600-acre, residential retirement community with 24-hour security, beautiful desert landscaping, and many amenities. The 2000-square-foot home is situated on a golf course with a spectacular northern exposure to enjoy the sun and mountain scenery from dawn to dusk. There is a panorama of snow-capped mountains and hot air balloons that seasonally dots the sky. Community is close to numerous Indian Casinos and shopping destinations with Desert Hills Premium Outlets 20 minutes away in Cabazon featuring 120 stores. Downtown Palm Springs, El Paseo, and The River are a very close drive from home.
Dell Webb's Sun City is a vibrant community, suitable for active adults. There are two onsite 18-hole golf courses and three club houses offering over 80 different activities and clubs, plus several restaurants as well as a theater and a ballroom. That’s not enough? Well, it a walking distance to the back entrance of the shopping center at Market Place, which has a Stater Bros. supermarket, as well as several individual stores and restaurants. The other large shopping centers are only minutes away by car including Costco and Sam’s club. Also, a healthy 20 minute walk (or a 1 mile or so drive) gets you to the Mountain View Club House, which houses the administration desk, post office, Ventura restaurant, Morning coffee/evening Martini Bar, and computer club.
In our house you will find the master sweet is huge, with a large walk-in closet with lots of shelves and shoe rack for your convenience. The 2nd bedroom has a queen-size bed. The third room has a queen size bed as well. The living room is very nicely and practically decorated. It has a couch, a love seat, a matching chair, and a coffee table. The LR has a very romantic gas fireplace and a large TV with Cable services. Dining Room has a formal dining room table with 6 chairs, and china cabinets. The full-size kitchen has a new fridge, new dishwasher, a new garbage disposal, a new stove, a new microwave, a toaster oven and a toaster, drinking water filtration system, and a TV w/ Cable services. The kitchen is a full operating kitchen which also includes all kinds of equipment such as a blender and a mixer, and all utensils, pots & pans and cooking trays. The laundry room has a full-size washer & dryer. The two-car garage houses the golf cart for your leisure. Although the house is very well insulated to accommodate the heat of the desert, for additional comfort there are ceiling fans in all bedrooms, living room, and dining room in addition to the central A/C. The house is fully tiled except for the carpeting in the bedrooms.
The large outdoor Northerly facing back patio comes complete with a very nice landscaping with flowers and outdoor lighting, an outdoor water fountain for relaxation, a natural-gas BBQ, two large glass patio sets with 12 chairs (of course my favorite chairs are the recliners) and umbrella, not to mention the two beautiful Mesquite trees that give very nice shades to the entire patio. The outdoor is an ideal spot to dine, relax and BBQ while enjoying the sunset. This patio has a lovely view and is situated on one of the two fabulous golf courses.
The rental includes all furniture, utensils, and equipment, a battery operated golf cart, and utilities (for weekly tenancy only). The property is available for a monthly or a weekly occupancy (see rates and availability for more detail). The community is very quiet and the house is within a few miles from Palm Springs and many other desert communities.
