My friends and I stayed in this gorgeous home for 4 days over Thanksgiving 2011. There were 8 of us including 4 teens and we had lots of room. The home was exactly like the photographs and was very well maintained. It is very close to the beach and we enjoyed many hours strolling along the beach enjoying the lovely sunrise and sunsets. We were all very happy and will definitely be back some day. The neighborhood was great, we felt safe and the locals were very friendly. I would recommend this vacation home. The owners are excellent and respond very quickly to emails. Thank you for allowing us to share your lovely home.

GREAT VACATION HOME

My husband and our 17 month old daughter and my sisters family, which included 3 kids 3,4 and 5 years old, enjoyed this house to the fullest. There was plenty of space for the kids to play while we cooked dinner in the large open kitchen. The short walk to the beach was nice and you weren't sitting on top of anyone on the beach. It felt like our own private beach. We will definately be back.

Slice of Heaven

My family stayed at this wonderful vacation home 8/13/2011-8/20/2011. Most of us have never been to the ocean and none of us have ever been to North Carolina. We were very pleased with the home. Spacious and comfortable enough for a large family. We loved the location to the ocean and it was truly a 2 minute walk to the ocean if you moved slowly. The house had plenty of towels, cooking utensils, pots and pans, laundry soap, beach chairs, etc... this was nice and saved us some money at the local grocery store. MANY stairs to climb but after a day or two you got used to it. The local people were so darn friendly and had many ideas on places to visit while in town. Just a couple of small very small things... Some minor repairs to the dresser drawers and batteries to the remotes for all of the T.V.'s and dusting of the ceiling fans would have been great but I also want to mention that the owners of this house did a wonderful job and our family is very grateful for the rental of their home. My kids loved all of the family games made available for their use. I would recommend this home to any family looking for a great beach house located litterally a hop, skip and jump from the beach! I also want to mention that the house is located in a very safe neighborhood and that made late night walks on the beach a relaxing experience. We left just in time to escape Hurricane Irene and I want to say I truly hope the home survives the hurricane with no damage. I will be saying prayers for all. Thank you for the rental. I'll advise our cleaning crew to take better care with this and to check the batteries in the remotes each week. We will have someone take a look at the dressers also. Perfect Family Vacation

We have just returned home from one of the best family vacations we have ever had. Even though our children are getting older, married, and having children of their own, we still value the family vacation and this house was perfect for this year's event. The location of the property made travel into town and to the beach quick and easy. The house was well maintained, spacious, and close enough to the beach that we could travel back and forth for even the smallest reasons. Even with eight people over the age of 10 and a 15 month old baby, we still had space for everyone to spread out and play games, watch T.V., or just read a good book without being interrupted or cramped. The five large bedrooms gave everyone a bed and made it easy for us to cater to the different bed times of those in our family. The living area, which is connected to the kitchen, allowed us to eat together and hang out as a large group as we played games, watched kids shows or a good movie at night, or just settled down from a tiring day of walking the beach looking for shark's teeth, sea glass, or just enjoying playing in the waves. I would highly recommend this house if you plan on going to Surf City and want to be close to the beach, have a lot of space, and spend a nice week in a beautiful house.

I wanted to thank you for the use of your home and allowing us the ability to spend Christmas with my oldest son stationed a Camp Lejeune. He was unable to get leave and come home. The use of your home allowed us to spend the holiday together. It's such a quick drive from the base to your home.The distance from the ocean was great, just a short walk back and forth. We had plenty of room for everyone and can only imagine in the warmer months how great it would be to sit on one of the four large porches. We had plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. Thank you for being such accomodating hosts!. I hope that maybe in the summer we can return. Thank you again!

Just wanted to say what a very nice home this property is. The pictures totally reflected the actual appearance of the home. It was clean and well maintained. Our stay was only for a couple of nights, but I did not want to leave. The nicest thing was having such a beautiful oceanview and not paying the oceanfront price. Coffee on the deck in the mornings and wine in the evenings was absolute amazing. Would recommend you putting a picture of the oceanview taken from the top deck on your website. A quick 2 minute walk and your on the beach. What more could you ask for? Really enjoyed the location. It was in the center of all the activities. Right between South Topsail and North Topsail. Will definitely be back for a visit again as soon as we get a chance. Thanks so much for allowing us to enjoy your home. Would recommend this rental to all my friends and family.

Memorial Day

We are a group that has made it a tradition to go to the beach early in the summer every year. This year we stayed in this home for a week and it was BY FAR our best vacation yet! The house was very very well taken care of and had everything we needed. It was a very short distance to the beach which made going back and forth all day hassle-free. Outside are two tables which fit our larger group perfectly for dinner on the deck every night. The customer service we were provided with was beyond helpful and friendly. We definitely plan to consider this house again for next year! Thank you for the amazing trip!
