We chose this over many others for its stunning views, unique location, remarkable neighborhood, sandy beach with incredible easy access-- and the island’s best dry, sunny weather! The scenic oceanfront walk and Polo’s ocean side Jacuzzi spa on starry nights also pulled heavy on our heartstrings.
It's an oceanfront haven of relaxation that reflects and respects Hawaii’s environment--and a great base from which to explore the island. The quiet non-touristy atmosphere hides the fact that there’s so much to do and see. Golf and tennis are up the street—world class in both directions. Nice shops as well as a wide selection of dining options are within walking distance. Art and music thrive here. We can sleep with our doors open. The condo is filled with artwork and furnishings that mirror Hawaii. The condo's lanai is a favorite spot, overlooking the pool, beach, other islands, and Turtle Bay. Dawn’s colors and brilliant sunsets take morning coffee, and leisurely barbecued hamburger or fish, to new heights. The sheltered lanai means virtually full time enjoyment regardless of the trade winds. With the beach, pool and oceanfront walk just steps away, you can easily come and go as often as you please. We discover something new every time we visit.The native beauty, fresh air, azure waters, friendly people, and sunshine impart rejuvenation and aloha into our busy lives. Mt. Haleakala continually captures our interest, whether for star gazing or hiking into the crater. The ocean outside our door teems with amazing and colorful sea life. This is our favorite get-away! We feel blessed to have stayed there. Beautifully decorated, obviously a labour of love. So many nice touches. We felt very comfortable and pampered. We were somewhat saddened to leave but at the same time it was good to be home. We did do many of the touristy activities and we took much of the time just enjoying the condo.
