It was hot but we really enjoyed our stay. A/C worked and let us cool off when we could pull our selves away from the water and go upstairs. Like Nolan, the owner, said it's not a 5-star hotel but if you like the old fishing camp style, you'll love it. Clean beds, bath a working kitchen is all you need. We lost our camp in Katrina and needed a dose of the atmosphere and relaxing weekends we used to have. Kids and adults fished and played in the water. Do bring life jackets, etc. for little ones because the camp is right on the water. Nolan baited the crab traps before we got there so we had plenty of crabs for a boil on Saturday. We hope to do it again soon.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
