This condo is family-owned by Sandy & Nina (daughter) Wallin, world renowned glass sculptors. This is their family's private home in Cayman. Sandy's fused glass sculptures and paintings are prevalent in the 1 or 2 bedroom apartment. It is newly renovated & decorated, a true artist's retreat! Much of their works are inspired from sitting on the porch which looks directly to the sea.
It is the 2nd floor of an island style home, which means it is quiet (no footsteps above)! You will experience the Cayman Islands as you should, a local! Picture having your coffee in the morning on the porch, soaking in the breath taking view, the children playing on the beach, or in the pool...
Walk down seven mile beach or see the most beautiful sunsets from the pool or Sandy's favorite, her porch! What sets Cocoplum apart from other 'condos' is just that, they are concrete 'condos' with absolutely no personality or respect for personal space, Cocoplum's unique location at the beginning of the famous seven mile beach is just a few minutes walk to Georgetown. You have privacy from other visitors, giving you a truly uninterrupted peaceful sense of belonging and ownership. Because you do! own this as long as you choose to stay! Consider it your home away from home!
Cocoplum works hard to provide the qualities of the "art of living", Cayman style! It has the resemblance of a small family compound, you will find in South America or Cayman, for generations. The owners have known each other for many years. If a place ever comes up for sale, it is normally bought by another owner! Cocoplum is truly one of the best kept secrets of seven mile beach!

This has been my families' home away from home, since I have been born. We come back at least 3-4 times a year and are local artists in the area. It's the most relaxing porch that I think about when I'm running around NYC or Miami. We are more than happy to share our home with others who can appreciate this peaceful island getaway. I actually know quite a number of our guests as most have also made it their yearly vacation spot.
Why the Owner Chose Seven Mile Beach
The gorgeous beaches were enough, although it was close enough for many of my family members to meet every year, so now it is our 2nd home.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
The view from our porch is amazing! We get most of our inspiration for our artwork right here. It is a home, so you can get groceries and cook meals, as opposed to eating out every night.
