GREAT HARBOUR CAY is a small private Island at the top of the Berry Islands. 20 miles North of the legendary Chub Cay Sportfish Capital. Great Harbour is a magical place where you are assured of your Privacy, Pristine world class Beaches, incredible Bonefishing, snorkeling, shelling, Deep Ocean fishing is right around the corner.
The drop off goes from 75 feet to over 2000 feet in about 100 yards. The water is Crystal clear and there is an abundance of Yellow Tail, Grouper, Snapper, Hog Fish and many other delicious Species. Snorkeling in 10 feet of Water or less lets you pick up Conch and Lobster. We even have a 9 hole Golf Course. Great Harbour is a Port of Entry which makes it easy to come in directly with your own Plane or you can Charter out of West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale or Miami.
If you decide to come via Nassau you have two daily scheduled Flights by Cat Island Air to Great Harbour Cay. The Island offers several Restaurants in Great Harbour as well as the native Village Bullocks Harbour. Since there are no Hotels the only rentals are private Homes and small Villas. If you are looking for bright lights, gambling and roaring Nightlife this is not the Place for you. Atlantis in Nassau offers all that and more.
Our Home called "Bonnie Place" is located on the Golf Course and is 250 yards from the Beach. "Bonnie Place" is a beautiful 3 Bedroom 2 Bath Home that is completely Equipped and is full of happy memories and has great Spirit. The House is open and Airy has Central air condition, large Kitchen with 4 burner Stove, Microwave, Toaster, Coffeemaker, Blender, Dishwasher and 27 cu foot Refrigerator Freezer with Water and Ice. Living and Dinning Room, huge Master Bedroom 2 Guest Rooms 2 Baths with Tub and Shower. There is a large back Porch with Table and Chairs and Lounges.
The Wash Room has a Washer and Dryer and a large Chest Freezer if needed. There is also an outdoor Shower which offers complete Privacy to wash off after a Day on the beach or on the Water. We have an Island van and a 4 seat Golf Cart available. Jeep and Golf Cart rental is also available at the gorgeous 10 Slip Marina. Maid service as well as having a native Chef cook for you is there for your added convenience.
Bonnie Place accommodates 6 People in comfort and is available for a minimum rental of 3 nights at $300/night. Weekly rental is $1500. Monthly is $5600. We rent from October 15th through June 30th. Summer rental can be arranged upon request. The Rental fee includes a weekly allowance for Electricity of $100/Monthly allowance is $400. Any average is calculated at 40 cents per KWH which is normal Island Rate.

My name is Peter and I came to the US from Austria at age 19. I have been married to Bonnie for 45 Years and our daughter Kris is 44 and just came back after 14 years in Switzerland. I am in the Auto Export Business to the Bahamas. We got to know the Islands after travels around the Region on our Sailboat SEE-YA. I enjoy the Ocean, Fishing, Free Diving for Fish and Lobster and play Golf once a week. I feel blessed to have lived in West Palm Beach since 1965 and for the Opportunity to have been able to Buy one little slice of Paradise in Great Harbour Cay.

This place was not intended for a Vacation Rental. It is our 2nd Home that is only 1 Hour away from West Palm Beach but is a totally different world in many ways.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The benefits are many. Close to Florida, Crystal clear Water, incredible world class Bone Fishing and Diving, great Weather, a community of Homeowners that is unique and is from many different Parts of the US and Europe. The local Population is about 800 People and they are the nicest most honest and friendly people that you will ever meet. No need to lock your House, Car, Boat or anything else. When we go there everybody greets us with WELCOME HOME, a big Smile and often a gift of fresh Seafood at our Door that evening. Doesn't get much better then this.
