Why the Owner Chose The Acres
This location is within walking distance of restaurants, grocery and other shopping. It is within 3-5 miles of multiple public golf courses, churches, library and recreation centers. YET, we are surrounded by open space and privacy. Views of the Santa Rita Mountains are incredible, particularly the sunsets.

Owner's Map of The Acres
My husband & I found Green Valley 10 years ago. We learned of the recreational opportunities here and the great proximity to Tucson city life. We enjoy residential remodeling and have made the Casita our most recent project and look forward to sharing it with others. Winter weather here is mild and sunny. Skies are blue almost every day. Makes you want to jump out of bed and see what each day brings!

We stayed in February and March of 2010. Great location-very peaceful with multilple patios, great views for sunsets and wildlife. Located on five acres so lots of space. Neal and Ellen are great hosts and go out of their way to make the stay comfortable. Plenty of space and great for an extended stay for two people. We had a guest for a few days and we were are comfortable even with only one bath. This is definitely our first choice when we return for the winter.
Recommended for:Age 55+.
