Built in 2006 by local craftsmen, this home is the perfect place from which to "do it all" or "do nothing at all".
Inside you can relax in an interior of cypress paneling, beautiful wood floors and vaulted ceilings leading up to the loft and one of the bedrooms. To the east from the porch or open deck you will view the ocean. To the west from the front porch you will see the beautiful colors of Cherokee Sound.
Local guides available for Bonefishing, inshore and ocean fishing plus sightseeing and exploring.
You get Watching Bay Beach and Cherokee Sound to explore. You get the friendly people of Cherokee Sound to help you enjoy your vacation. You Don't get stuck in traffic, or large crowds and the only lines you'll have may be hooked to a Bonefish or Wahoo!

That's me planting a banana tree in the back yard.
Our home was built in 2006 by craftsmen who live right in Cherokee. They have become friends and good neighbors. We get advice on fishing, exploring beaches and how to plant banana trees!
Why the Owner Chose Cherokee Sound
We liked the Abacos from our first visit over 15 years ago. On our first visit to Cherokee Sound in 2005 we were hooked. We were welcomed by friendly people, good fishing and endless beaches to explore. When we saw the beautiful colors of Cherokee Sound and Watching Bay reef from what is now our home site the planning started.

Among the many benefits of staying at our house is being within a short drive or walk to the town of Cherokee but having the privacy of our location as well. You get the best of both.
