This is an authentic 1800's dog trot log cabin built in the mid 1800's located in a quiet lakeside community on Lake Barkley. The rustic log cabin has 2 rooms with a dog trot or breeze way between. One side is a bedroom with two double beds and a bathroom. The other room is the kitchen, dining and living areas with a queen size fold out sleeper sofa. There are large covered porches on the front and back of the cabin. Each room of the cabin has a working fireplace and electric heat and air-conditioning. The kitchen has modern appliances, a microwave, coffee maker, basic pots and pans. There is also a gas and charcole grill on the deck. The cabin is located just across the road from Prizer Point Marina in Grays Hillview subdivision. From the cabin it is a short walk to public lake access. Just up the road is the Rock Castle boat ramp. Public hunting access is just a few miles away in The Land Between The Lakes. Crappie and bass fishing is great in the spring, catfish and yellow perch are good in the summer and crappies again in the fall. Water and jet skiing is always great warm weather fun Additional activities include the pools, boat rentals, miniature golf, life size chess, horseshoes, paddle boats, and ice berg climbing. Friday night movies at nearby Prizer Point Marina is always fun.
