Enjoy your stay in this spacious stylish-updated 3 Bedroom & 3 Full bathroom home. Once you enter Matt's place you will enjoy the wonderful layout. The main floor is your living room with large HD tv & wood burning fireplace, a dining area off of the kitchen that looks out to the upper patio & backyard, and your fully loaded kitchen with all your dining & cooking necessities. The upstairs will have all 3 bedrooms & 2 of the full bathrooms. The 'Monroe' Suite is the master bedroom, where you will have a king size bed & private bathroom. The 'Serenity' room is the 2nd bedroom & with its cool color palette your sure to get a relaxing slumber. Then you have the 'Buttercup' it is the 3rd bedroom set up with two twin beds. (There also is a baby bed stored in the basement for any baby traveler.)
The lower level of the home is set up perfect for entertaining. You will find a large dining table ready for all to gather round. This is also where you will have a family room with entertainment center. Last but not least open up the french doors & walk-out the a tranquil covered patio area where you are sure to enjoy the outdoors.
This vacation/corporate rental home provides you with all your bedding & linen needs. There is a full size washer/ dryer and iron. The over sized fenced backyard is perfect for your 'doggie's' needs & play. All utilities are included in the nightly rental rate (Electric, gas, water, cable, internet & trash pick-up) Large driveway & 2 car garage for your parking.

There was lots of space for all of us to spread out, it accommodated 5 adults, it had a fully supplied kitchen, a good sized garage for our car. Easy access to the interstate and the midtown area. We were very happy to have stayed there. The house and property was clean and well kept. The owner and her assistant were very helpful and made sure we had all the comforts of what we would want in our own home. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

As a family of six, this home has plenty of room to get some breathing space from each other while travelling. As you walk in the front door, a tastefully-appointed living room/dining room welcomes you. The large kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal, right down to a slow-cooker and toaster oven. Farmhouse-style taps over deep double sinks with garbage disposal & a dishwasher make clean-up a snap. All the rooms except the kitchen have ceiling fans, so even in the middle of a heat wave, the air circulation boosts the central air's cooling capacity. Three roomy bedrooms upstairs have very comfortable beds. The king-sized MBR has a 3-pce ensuite bath with shampoo/conditioner/soap provided (even a blowdryer!), there are extra linens in the hall closet, and there's a second 3-pce bath upstairs. The lower level has a more formal dining area with a HUGE dining table, and the bar/den area has a walkout to the lower level of the tiered back yard. There is a third 3-pce bath downstairs with a HE washer/dryer. Although we were too hot to cook and eat outside after long days doing touristy things outside, there is a grill and a beautiful covered dining area in the yard, complete with sunshade curtains. The decor throughout the home is an eclectic mix of modern/country. Bold colours on the walls and sleek black wood floors supstairs lend an air of cool elegance to this home. Kathy made a point of dropping off some extra things we might need while we were there, and had even pre-stocked the fridge with some fresh grocery items so we wouldn't have to dash out right away to get groceries after a long day of travel. Some reno work had been recently done on the house and there was a bit of a problem with the A/C during our stay but it had been due to a workman's error and was immediately addressed by the homeowner. The home is situated in a very good neighbourhood (the street traffic is a bit busy) and it is close to local grocery stores. It's a couple minutes' drive to the highway, so getting to most of the city's attractions was fast! The drive to the Zoo, Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun, & Kauffman Stadium were all between 10 and 20 minutes. There is no telephone in the home so be sure to bring you cell phone charger. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone planning on staying in Kansas City. It was beautiful, very clean, spacious home, and the beds were very comfortable. A wonderful first-time experience using VRBO! About the owner: I have multiple interests that can play a part in the desirability of renting this home. I own Presentations Salon & Rx Day Spa and some of our services could be brought to this location. I also love to study foods from around the world and how to prepare them. I love creating from the garden and what is fresh and available at the moment. Therefore, I can cater for small gatherings and intimate dinner parties.
Why the Owner Chose Kansas City:
This was my son's home, who moved out of state. So, I have remodeled, decorated & fully furnished the home.
