This is a "Comfy", Well-Kept Golf Course House on the Green of the 7th Hole of the South Course. Enjoy Breakfast on the Large Patio and watch the stream of golfers navigate this Par 3. Golf and Tennis are available to all (rates apply). Take a relaxing ride around the complex on our Golf Cart, which can be taken to "The River" as well. Enjoy a Movie or Fine Meal at 1 of the Many Quality Restaurants. Invite your friends over for 1 of your fabulous meals prepared in our Fully Equipped Kitchen with service for 12. Unwind at the Pool and Whirlpool across the street...or at the Pool at the end of the block, or at the 1 across the main street.
One of the most appealing features of this unit is its Accessibility. Near the main gate, you are literally minutes from everything. Shopping is a breeze...and there are some very unique shops. When I am there I like to enjoy a Margarita at Armando's, an appetizer at Roy's Hawaiian, or happy hour at Accqua Pizza. Italian Food? None better than Castelli's...like a trip to New York. Pamper yourself by simply sunning on the porch (in hot weather we use our misting fan), or at the Spa at the Hotel...last time my girls were there they shared the spa with Paula Abdul!
Day trips are plentiful...take the tram up to the top of the mountain overlooking Palm Springs...through 5 climate changes. Visit the Living Desert, a unique 'zoo' showcasing both Saharan and Sonoran Deserts. Enjoy one of several casinos in the area (one is 10 minutes from the house)...great clubs and name entertainment. Or stroll the College of the Desert Swap meet every Saturday and Sunday...very unique, and reachable by golf cart.

We are an eclectic family of educators, social workers, musicians, contractors and, of course, golfers. We enjoy the desert and Hawaii for the many amenities offered for recreation and relaxation. We reside full time in Southern California and particularly love our home in Rancho Las Palmas.
Why the Owner Chose Rancho Las Palmas
This unit is in 1 of the most storied developments in the Coachella valley. With 27 holes of year-round golf, terrific Views and Weather, we were hooked when we first visited years ago. The property is a short walk to "The River", a 1ST-Rate Shopping and Entertainment Center, The Rancho Las Palmas Hotel, and the Clubhouse. This is a premier location, near the main gate. Between our feet and the Golf Cart there are few places we can't be in minutes.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The Golf Course is in Great Shape Year-Round, and Quite Playable. The Tennis Courts are considered among the Best in the Desert and Home to Professional Events. There are over 20 Pools on the Property, including 1 across the street from the property. For Dining, there is the Yard House, Cheesecake Factory, Flemings, PF Changs and Accqua Pazza at the River...the latter has the best happy hours in the desert! A short ride away is El Paseo, a shopping and dining district known for its high fashion shops. On El Paseo you will find Armando's, arguably the best Mexican Grill in town, but clearly the best margaritas!
