A beautiful 5BR 4.5BA home awaits you! With more than 3000SF of living area, Taylor Made II easily accommodates 14 people without feeling cramped or crowded. Generously sized covered porches loaded with rocking chairs help expand the living space into the extra large outdoor area. (This home sits on two lots, including a corner lot.)
We've made many upgrades since our Oct 2009 purchase and we continue to improve this home to make it the most enjoyable home you will ever rent!
Located on the north end of Surfside Beach and less than 300 steps to the beach, this six-year old home offers 5 spacious bedrooms, 4.5 baths and an open floor plan designed for comfort and relaxation. In addition, this designer-decorated home features 4 covered porches loaded with rocking chairs and a sparkling, 11x23 foot salt-chlorinated pool.
SUPER CLEAN - We have our carpets, upholstered furniture and bed linens professionally cleaned at least once per year. Our housekeeping team ONLY cleans our house, so they are meticulous and thorough as they clean between our guests. When you open the door for the first time, you will see, feel and smell the difference!
The pool is heated 3/2-5/25 and 9/7-11/2 - no extra charge, included in rental rate.
The outdoor shower is enclosed and features hot water and a working toilet - take your shower as you head in from the beach plus no traipsing through the house while you're enjoying the pool.
Walk 300 steps towards the Atlantic Ocean and you will reach the public access beach at the end of our street; lifeguards are on duty during the summer months and the beach is wide with white and clean sand. The North end of Surfside tends to get less traffic and feels more quiet and residential – you’ll feel comfortable letting your children walk to the beach or ride their bikes around the neighborhood.

While we personally own this home, it is managed by a local property management company. Your rent includes departure cleaning and pool heating when noted. Linens are not provided but may be rented through the property management company, as well as many other items you may need to fully enjoy your beach vacation (crib, golf cart, beach umbrellas, etc.).
We highly recommend that you rent a golf cart - it's the most popular mode of transportation in Surfside and lets you explore areas you might otherwise miss in a car!
Weekly rentals are Sat-Sat., April - October. Monthly rentals are welcome between October - March.
You must be 25 yrs old to rent this property. No house parties.

have stayed here for past two years and love it. the house is well made and very clean. enjoy our stay. plenty of parking room. pool wonderful, warm and inviting. love the fact of no chlorine. would love to stay again this year, but got outvoted by our friends. they really want to stay on oceanfront. but will come back in the future.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

I started searching for a vacation home in the Myrtle Beach area back in October 2011, when I saw this house and emailed the owner she was very prompt in returning my email. She was a joy to talk to and answered every question I had needless to say we chose Taylor made II. We arrived on Aug. 18th and had the time of our lives this house is wonderful, it was 13 of us and plenty of room for everyone. The weather was not the best but we enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the family feel of Surfside. We enjoyed the grill and the pool was the perfect size for us. I would recommend this house to anyone that is looking for a great place to call home away from home. it was clean, beautiful and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed your home and although we have been back in the "real" world for a week already, the memories are everlasting! First, I must tell you that the pics you have on your Facebook page, although very enticing, do very little justice to the actual home you have created. The house is absolutely gorgeous! We had 11 in our family staying there and we all felt so at home and comfortable. This actually was our first multiple family vacation together and even though we like to spend time with each other, your home also allowed us to spend time individually or one on one as well. We have been coming to Surfside for the past 3 consecutive years and prior to that with my brother & sister in law, who own & rent a home out over on the Arrowhead Golf Course. We definitely enjoyed being closer to the beach this year and having the private pool available. We will let you know our future plans for 2013 as soon as we know our schedules. Our oldest son will be graduating from college this next May and we don't quite know where he may be headed -so planning ahead will be our goal. We all had a great stay. The property was well maintained with plenty of patio furnature. We also enjoyed that after seeing the photos everything was just as we expected . We had a great time and really enjoyed the house. The accommodations were great and the remodel was certainly well planned. As avid travelers, my family has stayed in many vrbo rentals and hotels. This home was by far the best accommodations we have had. The photos online are lovely but the house is even more beautiful in person. The furniture and decor are high end, well-maintained and most importantly the house was spotless upon arrival. Many times upon check in at other accommodations, one might find some sign of the previous guests. This home however was in perfect shape. Although we took advantage of the many delicious restaurants in the area, the kitchen was fully stocked and would be perfect for anyone who enjoys cooking. Additionally, the rooms were all large and spacious, leaving lots of space for large families. The pool too was spotless and cleaned twice during our 1 week stay. Traveling in April caused the ocean to be a bit chilly and having a heated pool was divine. Other guests we traveled with didn't have this luxury at their vrbo rental and were disappointed. Besides the house being amazing inside, the location of the home is ideal. The corner lot allows for more privacy than most homes in Surfside Beach. Equally as important as the lovely home was the ease of reservations with the owners. Everything was handled professionally and as expected. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a large, clean, up to date, beautifully decorated home.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
We fell in love with Surfside Beach the first time we visited it. After having vacationed at Ocean Isle, North Myrtle, Isle of Palms and Litchfield, among other fine NC/SC beaches, Surfside seems to offer the best all-around experience for our family. It's VERY family oriented; we also like the fact that there are very few high rise buildings that obscure the ocean views or put 1000's of people onto the beach. There's lots to do right in Surfside (and along Hwy 17A) yet you are also close to all the amenities of Myrtle Beach, the restaurants of Murrell's Inlet or the more serene nature of Pawley's Island/Litchfield Beach. Also, Charleston & Georgetown are a short drive away. We think you'll love Surfside too, especially if you have kids between the ages of 2-92!
