Welcome to Taylor Made II, a beautiful and lovingly cared for home that will be perfect for your family vacation. Located on the north end of Surfside Beach and less than 300 steps to the beach, this six-year old home offers 5 spacious bedrooms, 4.5 baths and an open floor plan designed for comfort and relaxation. In addition, this designer-decorated home features 4 covered porches loaded with rocking chairs and a sparkling, 11 x 23 foot salt-chlorinated pool.
HEATED POOL from 3/1-5/31 and 9/1-10/31 - no additional charge, it's included in the rental rate.
Set amid two gorgeous live oaks (with real Spanish moss draped across their limbs) on a big corner lot, Taylor Made II has more than 3000 SF of living area. It’s one of the larger 5 bedroom homes at Surfside. A generously sized great room on the main level features a separate TV/sitting area, two dining tables and a bar and a roomy, well-equipped kitchen.
NEW FOR 2012: Fresh exterior paint; upgraded furnishings, artwork & interior décor selected by Charlotte area design firm Kristofer Dale & Associates; new small appliances, dishes and cookware for the kitchen; renovated outdoor bathroom...plus other numerous improvements!
Our home will accommodate 14 people in its 5 spacious bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own flat-screen cable TV,
Bedroom Summary:
Main Level (2 bedrooms): Bedroom 1 has 1Q and Bedroom 2 also has 1Q; each opens onto the covered front porch and shares a full bath.
Upper Level (3 bedrooms):
Master bedroom 1 has a king-sized bed, shower and Jacuzzi tub, opens onto private covered front porch.
Master bedroom 2 also has a king-sized bed, full bath and opens onto a private covered porch overlooking the pool.
Bedroom 3 has 2Q and its own full bath.
We also provide a Queen-sized Aerobed in lieu of a sleeper sofa; this allows you the flexibility to set up this bed where you want it.
A laundry area on the upper level has a full-size washer and dryer.
Two of the covered porches overlook the pool; the main level deck provides direct access to the pool. The pool uses salt-water chlorination - no red, irritated eyes, green hair or bleached swimsuits! The pool is surrounded by a privacy fence and is accessible from the main living area. The outdoor shower is enclosed and features hot water and a working toilet!
Walk 300 steps towards the Atlantic Ocean and you will reach the public access beach at the end of our street. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months and the beach is wide with white and clean sand.
The North end of Surfside tends to get less traffic and feels more quiet and residential – you’ll feel comfortable letting your children walk to the beach or ride their bikes around the neighborhood.
To truly experience life in Surfside, we recommend you rent a golf cart - it's the most popular mode of transportation at the beach!
Surfside is a very family oriented beach with many great activities to pursue on the beach or right along Hwy 17A (Kings Hwy). Yet you are just minutes from all the action at Myrtle Beach (shopping, amusement parks, shows, golf, etc.), Restaurant Row in Murrell’s Inlet, Huntington Beach State Park, Brookgreen Gardens and Pawley’s Island/Litchfield Beach.
While we personally own this home, it is managed by a local property management company. Your rent includes departure cleaning. Linens are not provided but may be rented through the property management company, as well as many other items you may need to fully enjoy your beach vacation (crib, golf cart, beach umbrellas, etc.).
Weekly rentals April-September. Monthly and nightly (4-night minimum) rentals available October – March. Please contact us for more details.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We fell in love with Surfside Beach the first time we visited it. After having vacationed at Ocean Isle, North Myrtle, Isle of Palms and Litchfield, among other fine NC/SC beaches, Surfside seems to offer the best all-around experience for our family. It's VERY family oriented; we also like the fact that there are very few high rise buildings that obscure the ocean views or put 1000's of people onto the beach. There's lots to do right in Surfside (and along Hwy 17A) yet you are also close to all the amenities of Myrtle Beach, the restaurants of Murrell's Inlet or the more serene nature of Pawley's Island/Litchfield Beach. Also, Charleston & Georgetown are a short drive away. We think you'll love Surfside too, especially if you have kids between the ages of 2-92!
The Unique Benefits at this House
We continue to love this home as it will some day be our home when we retire! Among improvements we've made since we bought it in 2009: added a pool heater for Spring & Fall rentals; replaced all the mattresses; added new flat screen TV's in all rooms; completely repainted the interior; expanded seating in living area with 3 brand new sofas; provide free WIFI & long distance calling; & remodeled kitchen with new granite countertops and stainless steel appliances!

stayed here in oct 2011. loved the house and the pool was wonderful. weather little cool and the warm pool was great. house was spotless. only drawback was the outside toilet wasn't working but other than that it was great. the Noble's were very helpful as we booked this only 2 weeks before we wanted the house.

We are home, and had a FANTASTIC TIME!!! We are hoping to rent the same property next year for the same week...The girls didn't want to leave at all, and neither did I :) Once the girls decide on the trip for next year, we will definitely give you a shout. The house is AMAZING!!!!

You have done a great job decorating. The kitchen looks really great and all the new sofas offered enough room for everyone to sit and watch Disney Playhouse at night. HAHa!!! (I was grateful for the bedroom tv’s to get away from the shows the little ones wanted to watch ). I can't thank you enough for the little things provided, like toilet paper, etc.; we have stayed in homes where you only get one roll!!!! The pool was absolutely amazing !!! I never go in the pool but it was so clean and warm the kids got me in every time. It was so much fun!!!! I loved all the pictures of your family around the home, it made me feel like we knew you all and we were family. We will definitely rent your home again next year and the years to come. This was the third home we have rented in Surfside and it was the best!! BEST!!!! I am now spoiled!!!! As soon as I know which week my family can come next year we will book. Thank you so much for making it available for families to retreat to and enjoy some much needed r&r and time together.

Last summer we came here with our family and had a blast. The house was perfect. It had everything we wanted and more too. The living area had plenty of seating (a real complaint of mine with other homes we have rented) and there was plenty of seating for everyone when it came time to eat. The kitchen had everything we needed and more too. Bedrooms were large enough to suit everyone and most had their own bathroom. There were 4 balconies so when we wanted to go to our respective corners we could. We had steps off the back balcony to keep a close eye on the kids. It was quiet and the pool was great in the summer—no we didn’t use it at Valentine’s day but we will when we go back this summer. The ocean is right around the corner so the walk is easy…even with the little ones. It was great. I can’t wait to get back in the summer….only complaint is it is popular so we have to move fast when we want it or it is gone. But I see why….its the reason we keep going back.

We rented this house for our family vacation and it was outstanding. In the past I have rented places where you get there and you say where is the house I saw in the pictures. Not this one. It was actually better than the pictures. The living area for example had a new, huge flat screen TV, the bedrooms ALL had small flat screens. The kitchen was well stocked when the ladies felt like cooking and when they didn't there were plenty of eating places nearby. The pool is a good size and we could sit on either of the two decks to watch the kids in the pool. It is a 2 minute walk to the ocean....actually better than a second row house because when we rented 2nd row houses you always had the road noise to hear, not with Taylor Made II. When we sat down to decide where we wanted to go this year, every single family member voted Taylor Made II. By the way, it was exceptionally clean too. Anyway, as for the Rollins family we will be back. Thank you Jackie for working with us to find a week. It is always a pleasure to deal with you. The Rollins family
