Awesome location and the description and pictures of the unit were quite accurate. Loved the window seat! I felt just like a cat perched up there watching the people strolling through the village. Sometimes during the night I would sneak a peak out the window just admiring the beautiful lights lining the village street. Skiing, shopping, restaurants are just steps away. And Thank you Kate for purchasing that crock pot for when we chose to have dinner in the condo!. The cooler ouside was a great bonus, where I stored the crockpot for pot roast leftovers! Thanks again.

We were so impressed with the location of this condo. This IS the place to stay when in Vail, right next to the lifts, restaurants and shopping. The unit is decorated beautifully, very warm and inviting. We couldn't get enough of the window seat, enjoying a cup of coffee and looking down at the village! Kitchen was great, plenty of storage for food and drinks. We found it to be very quiet and comfortable. Gene and Kate were wonderful to work with. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to all our friends and family. Thanks again!

Love this place! It was our second time here and we happened to have a snow storm the day we were suppose to leave. Part of I70 was closed off and road conditions were pretty bad, so we called Kate and Gene and they so graciously let us stay another night at no cost!!! Great people...we will be back!

Thank you for the pleasant stay in Vail. We were somewhat apprehensive after reading the review dated 7-31-11. But after your assurance, we decided to rent your condo for a almost two weeks. Are we glad we did! Your condo is one most unique places we have ever had the fortune of occupying. After first hand experience, I would like to address the Things to be aware of in the 7-31-11 review: Most people don't expect central A/C in the mountains and the weather usually does warrant the need. Also being on the walking mall of Vail Village is the atmosphere we wanted to experience. We never found the noise level in anyway to effect our sleep. Needing ear plugs, really made my husband laugh. We are a family of four and the kitchen was very functional. Stating the refrigerator is 1/2 size is not how most people would describe it. It was under-the-counter U-Line refrigerator and freezer. My husband is in the kitchen business and he knows that this is definitely top of the line model. There was ample room in the refrigerator and freezer for our 10 day stay. The wine cooler was a nice added touch. Gene and Kate Thank you so much for a fantastic vacation. Also, forgot to mention...After we put the kids to bed, We found your condo to have a very romantic atmosphere.

This was a nice, clean condo with accurate pictures and an extremely good price. The owners were nice to deal with -- offered tips for local restaurants, etc. The condo was clean and right on the walking-mall area of downtown Vail -- very conveniently located. The "walk-up" description was accurate, and not at all a problem. Things to be aware of: 1) no central A/C. So, while it cooled off nicely at night, you needed to leave the windows open... and since it's right on the walking mall, it's fairly noisy. Not bad if you plan to go to bed late, or you have earplugs. 2) The kitchen is limited -- especially since the refrigerator is only 1/2-size. Not an issue if you are there for only a couple of days or only there with ~2 people. However, a family of 4 would have a hard time storing groceries for more than a couple of days.

For anyone looking for a unique, clean, convenient, and spacious place in vail....This is it!!!! This condo is located in the heart of Vail Village with tons of restaurants and activities to choose from. The condo's decor is very contemporary yet warm. Everywhere you look there is custom carvings and creative woodwork. The furniture is very comfortable and inviting. We fell in love with the electric grill thats offered, but if that's not your thing they even offer a charcoal grill to use. All cutlery and kitchenware are provided with nothing missing. It truly felt like home away from home!!

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Vail. Very unique and comfortable, and plenty big for a family of five. The pictures are very accurate. It's a beautiful condo, and we didn't want to leave. Kate and Gene are top notch, and did everything to make our stay memorable. We would recommend this to anyone visiting Vail, you won't be disappointed!
