Coyaba Villa is simply breathtaking, a modern interpretation of old world Caribbean charm, located in a small, very upscale neighborhood with only 10 beach homes. Owner inspired, a full team worked together to create this gracious and exceedingly comfortable home, just completed in September of 2009. Villa Coyaba is set on a low ridge in the quiet community of Sunset Bay taking in the spectacular aqua blues and greens of famous Chalk Sound on the one side and only steps away, the tranquility of lovely Taylor Bay with its crescent shaped, soft sand beach and crystal clear calm swimming waters on the other. Guests have access to two newly refinished tennis courts only a short walk away.
Well appointed outdoor living spaces 'under sail' allow for groups to gather effortlessly whilst private spaces like the Indonesian Gazebo allow for 'quiet time' for couples to enjoy. At Coyaba Villa, our most spectacular sunsets will be etched into your memories.
This 3 bed, 3 bath villa has 2700 square feet of indoor, A/C'd living space. Bright and airy with great natural breezes throughout, the villa is luxuriously appointed. The gourmet kitchen features an elite professional level gas range with double oven, dishwasher, microwave/ convection oven, stainless steel refrigerator with built in water purifying system and ice maker, as well as a myriad of appliances to ensure that those who wish to cater in have everything they wish for to create from a simple breakfast to enjoy on the terrace through to magnificent meals to be served formally in the dining room. The comfortable central living room may be opened up so that the indoors blends with the outdoors; those enjoying the pool and 2400 sq ft of outdoor terrace can easily socialize with those enjoying more of the indoor creature comforts.
Every room in Coyaba Villa has an amazing water view...Ocean or Sound...or both! One bedroom + bath can be found on the main level with its French doors opening onto the pool terrace, as well as another opening onto a private patio overlooking the Sound. The other 2 bedrooms are upstairs with exceptional views and a wonderful balcony to enjoy cooling ocean breezes. Each bedroom has its own luxurious bathroom with both shower and soaker tub; top of the line toiletries include Star Fish Oils, Tranquility bath salts & soap, and Rance Next Age Bio bath foam, body lotions & soaps. Each bedroom has ceiling fan and A/C, as well as its own flat screen TV and IPod docking station. Two bathrooms have flat screen TVs with built in DVD player.

Why the Owner Chose Taylor Bay
Coyaba Villa is our newest endeavor on the island, even though we purchased the land in Sunset Bay whilst on holiday . The stunning views of Chalk Sound and the tranquility of nearby Taylor Bay captured our hearts, and set us to dreaming about what we might create there one day. The journey began early in 2008 when we decided to build, encapsulating our Caribbean background with all the creature comforts one might wish for while visiting this piece of paradise.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
Coyaba Villa was designed with total relaxation in mind. As our lives are incredibly busy with the restaurant, we wished for a space that we could slip away to during the day where we might enjoy much peace, quiet, sun, and relaxation. It is a place where we can truly enjoy our family and close friends, and where they, too, can sneak away to for sheer enjoyment. Our kitchen was inspired by Paul's passion for cooking, and with the outdoor barbecue and dining area, as well as the elegant indoor dining room, we feel we can fully enjoy the experience no matter the occasion! But when a few moments of solitude are in order, the Indonesian gazebo perched overlooking the pool and outdoor terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy. And after a swim or lollygagging in the sun, a rinse in one of two outdoor showers is quite refreshing.

Paul and I moved here from Jamaica with our two young daughters, Lexi and Lizzie, in 1997. Providenciales held much promise for us as a safe and lovely place to raise our family, as well as the perfect spot to build a business. Our heart and soul went into creating Coyaba, our fine dining restaurant in the Grace Bay area, which has blossomed over the years. "Provo" is our home, and so we continue to build our lives around all that the island has to offer... and so our latest creation - Coyaba Villa.

Our family spent a week at Coyaba Villa late October 2011 and loved every minute spent there! The view is stunning, the house is absolutely fabulously decorated, spacious and so well looked after. Personally, I fell in love with all the sitting areas around the house, and the pool of course. The location is also ideal being walking distance to this beautiful beach. We truly enjoyed our stay and the video of the villa on youtube definitively doesn't lie!

Coyaba Villa is AMAZING! The views of Taylor Bay and Chalk Sound are spectacular and can be seen from every room from the house. There are many great spots throughout the property but I particularly enjoyed lounging in the gazebo from which you can see both of the fabulous views. The house is immaculately decorated even for the most discerning of tastes. It is a short walk to Taylor Bay which is perfect for young children. Laura and her husband, John, were most helpful both ahead of time and during our stay. My first stay here was in January and I am thrilled I will be going back in June.

Awesome! Gorgeous! Perfect! These are some of the adjectives our family chose to describe this villa. We were there in March 2011 and had an unbelievably wonderful stay (my husband and I and our two children, my sister and her husband, and my mom). Laura welcomed us as if we were old friends, giving us all of the ins and outs of the island. She was always there to answer our questions and was a huge help (via email) during our preparation for coming (helping with spa reservations, snorkling, etc) The villa is perfect. There is no other way to describe it. We couldn't find a view out any window that wasn't breathtaking. Everything we could possibly need was there and it was obvious that when Karen and Paul built the villa they considered every last detail. We will definitely return and recommend this place with fervent enthusiasm.

Just spent a girls' getaway week at Coyaba Villa, and it was heavenly indeed (Coyaba means heavenly in Arawak). The photos don't do the place justice. There are stunning views from every indoor and outdoor room. While the villa and its (every conceivable) amenities are state-of-the-art, its design and setting evoke a classic island plantation home. The decor is upscale but with a lovely comfy/casual feel, and the bathrooms are to die for. The villa is thoughtfully laid out -- it would be as well suited for an extended family as it was for us "girls". And, its got the best pool floats ever! Karen and Paul are wonderful hosts; we lacked for nothing during our stay. For a gourmet treat, I highly recommend Coyaba restaurant, also owned by Paul (who is also the exec chef). This definitely won't be the last time I'll be staying at Coyaba Villa -- can't wait to go back!

Approaching Coyaba Villa, the gates open we enter in to a beautifully landscaped property with anticipation. We walk up the stairs anticipating our week of relaxation and when reaching the top, look left and see the view of Sunset Bay from the patio and pool area. Another surprise awaits us when we walk into a beautifully furnished and spacious living room complete with state of the art Audio/visual eqipment. The gormet kitchen adjoins the living room complete with a full compliment of utensils; professional stoves, fridge, two sinks, wine fridge..you name it, its there. We meander about and are shown our room which is on the first floor, with a large walkin shower, jacuzzi and fluffy towels! Adjoined by a private hallway to the bedroom with twin beds, very comfy mattress, sheets and pillows with not one but two views with french doors opening to the pool area and sunset bay views or if we're in the mood for an alternate view, a private patio with lounge chairs overlooking Chalk Sound. I think to myself, yes, I could definitly live here and they may have a hard time getting me to leave. We continue the tour and head upstairs..two large bedrooms, each with a kingsize bed, chaise lounge, private bathrooms again with huge walk in showers and jacuzzi's, views to die for, a large and welcoming porch/patio on the sunset bay side awaits the 2nd floor occupants. Everything through out the Villa is calming, soothing and tastefully decorated...not overdone but just perfect. Our host and hostess, Paul and Karen are by far the host's with the most! We venture off to their restaurant, Coyaba and have an absolutely wonderful meal. Dining at its best. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, just as is the Villa. Specatcular would be the best way to describe the experience and I would highly recommend Coyaba Villa to anyone. The next several days are spent lounging in the pool, watching spectacular sunsets over Sunset Bay, walks on the beach, an occasional venture out and about the Island for a sunset Sail, shopping a Kayak tour and occasional eating out. You have the freedom to do so much about the island, or, to do nothing but relax and destress. Take your pick. I will definitely be back.

We stayed at Villa Coyoba with our 3 year old daughter and absolutely fell in love with the place. When we arrived Laura made us feel right at home and answered all of our questions. The owners are wonderful and have the best restaurant on the island as well. Taylor Bay Beach is perfect for small children. It is very private, shallow and the softest sand ever. The pool and outdoor living area are great and rivals that of a five star resort. The decor is so beautiful. The design of the villa is so well thought out. You have a beautiful view of the ocean and the sound from every window. We have stayed at many villas and luxury resorts and this is our favorite place on earth! We cannot wait to return with our daughter and our soon to be newborn son!

I like to read reviews when I am planning a trip so I always try to write one when I return. This review is a pleasure to write … We spent a week at Coyaba celebrating our 22nd anniversary. The villa is truly amazing with so many thoughtful touches. We have rented villas in Anguilla, St. John and Tortola and they were lovely but Coyaba is the best we have encountered. If you are looking for a romantic escape from the real world then look no further! We have never seen such a well stocked kitchen before in a rental villa - we used the waffle iron several mornings. There is a lovely indoor dining room as well as two outdoor areas (one with a view of the Sea and one with a view of the Sound). A large HD TV with many channels available and a selection of DVDs in the living area as well as TVs in the bedrooms and bathrooms! Our bed was so comfortable with high end linens and a selection of firm and soft pillows. Plenty of closet space. The bathroom was luxurious with a double shower, double sink and soaker tub with a view of the beautiful sound. The decorating is phenomenal. Where ever you are in the house you just feel you are somewhere so special. A/C is metered and you pay for that separately, but if you use it at a reasonable setting in just the bedroom at night the cost is nominal (ours was $26 for the week). The villa is like having a mini resort all to yourselves. There are cushioned loungers by the pool, an outdoor conversation area where you can watch the sun set and a porch with cushioned sofas with a great view of the Sea (great place to do yoga in the morning). We found our favorite outdoor spot to be the gazebo with views of both the Sea and Sound - no matter which way the wind was blowing you always had a breeze! It was so peaceful to be completely surrounded by the tropical vegetation – great place for reading a book, a game of Scrabble or a chat. There are also outdoor areas on the Sound side of the house for lounging with a view of the turquoise waters of Chalk Sound. An outdoor shower is also available. The villa has a security system and a gated entry. Taylor Bay is just a 2-3 minute easy walk from the villa. Most days, we were the only people on the beach the entire time we were there! You will leave Coyaba with your soul refreshed and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much for providing such a special place for one of our best anniversary celebrations ever!

Wow! family of 4 just returned from a great week spent at the Coyaba Villa. They took such great care of us. Beautiful house, beautifully decorated and furnished with fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds, luxurious, lovely outdoor areas around pool and in back for dining and lounging. So close to one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been on. Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, played tennis too. Local restaurant, (3 minutes away) is great, order to go and watch the sunset right from your own patio. Very relaxing, nice neighborhood, great security. Wonderful villa! We spend most of our vacation not wanting to leave the comforts of villa Coyaba.

Villa Coyaba was a paradise version of home away from home. It offered us the space both inside and out that we so much prefer to any fine hotel, both in terms of privacy and also in terms of feeling as comfortable as we do in our own space. The house was outfitted with the very finest of kitchen appliances and cooking utensils so for someone who enjoys the gourmet at home experience, there could be none better. The views from the house make it well worth having a bit of space between beach and house. The one minute walk to the beach allows you to get excited about the splendor of having a calm and pristine white sand/crystal clear water beach all to yourselves. Where in the world are you going to get that at any price! Admittedly there were sometimes when there were a handful of people (never more than six) there at the same time. If you like privacy – this is it! Finally, I would say that meeting Laura and her husband made it feel like having friends who take care of you right on hand; as well, Karen, Paul and daughters looked after our every request and need. We can not wait to make this our “home away from home” time and time again.

We just wanted to let anyone thinking of visiting Turks for the totally perfect vacation they need not go any further. Our family of five can't wait to return. The home is fully equiped with everything. The proximity to the almost private beach was like no other place we have been.(this includes St. Barths)You can not think of one thing this home is lacking. The amenities and the decor are out of a magazine.But what made it above and beyond was how attentive the owners and Laura were.
