07/16/2012 - 07/21/2012 --- GUEST BOOK COMMENTS --- John & Verna (and Chico!) Thank you so much for having us in your home this week, and for being such gracious hosts. We greatly appreciated all the advice and tips that you gave us along the way. It's hard for us to pick our favorite thing... from Yellowstone to Beartooth Pass to the Grand Tetons, we enjoyed every minute! Thanks also for the dinner recommendations in Cody; Larry loved the Buffalo Ribeye. Our 25th anniversary will always hold special memories for us because of this trip. Maybe one day we will make it back and make that trip to Glacier! Thanks AgainDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

07/01/2012 - 07/06/2012 --- GUEST BOOK COMMENTS --- John & Verna, From the moment we met you we felt at "home". You both are very special and we could not have found a better place to stay. Like I said before to you John, I wished we lived closer so that we could continue a life long relationship. Everytime I think of Yellowstone I will think of you and the "bit of heaven" you live in. Keep in touch and stop in Castle Rock when you get a chance.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

But best of all was just spending time talking to the two of you. You were both so friendly and nice, and it was a real joy spending time with you. Your in Christ.Did you find this review helpful? 06/17/2012 - 06/21/2012 --- GUEST COMMENT BOOK --- John and Verna, Thanks so much for your hospilality and kindness during our stay. If not for your prompting we would never have experienced Beartooth Pass. Your advice to slow down and enjoy the journey and not rush to the next destination was right on. I think it maybe good advice for when we return home as well. John... I met my first cowboy and I'm honored to have met you.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

06/08/2012 - 06/10/2012 --- GUEST COMMENT BOOK --- John, Your place was a fine spot to call "home" while touring Wyoming. Yellowstone was marvelous - awesome wonder of God's creation. Tetons though shy in their presence, were cool to view. Cassie's Restaurant was delicious. Till we meet again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: I am a retired cattle rancher, born and raised in Colorado. I relocated to Wyoming to enjoy the small town feel that my home in Colorado once held for me. I enjoy being the host of many different people from different parts of the world in my home.
Why the Owner Chose Cody:
I chose Wyoming because of the vast outdoors. Fishing, hunting, skiing, hiking, horseback riding, motorcycle riding through Yellowstone Park, etc.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The Shoshone River is 1/4 mile away for fishing. Yellowstone Park is 25 minutes. It is a short trip to Cody for dining or a movie. Sleeping Giant Ski Resort is 20 minutes away. The mountains are right out the window 24/7. Wildlife is close and spectacular. It's like living in a post card.
