Four women ranging in age from 62 to 71 years young stayed here for 3 nights - what a great experience. On the first morning we were greeted by white faced capuchin monkeys on our deck railing who wanted to check out the new residents. We could see toucans flying a few hundred yards away. Breakfast on the beach was fabulous. Beach staff were wonderful. We body surfed and used boogie boards for hours in the water. There are 3 pools and when the family pool got noisy we simply relocated (with drinks from the bar) to the quieter adult poolDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We ended up taking a shuttle (scheduled by Vanessa) from the airport for $180 each way. Not terribly expensive for a 2.5 hour trip and the driver took us to a supermarket which allowed us to stock up on groceries. You can also fly into Quepos from San Jose for approximately $63 per person each way (if your flight times correspond with the local airline schedule--ours did not). Once at the resort, our concierge Bill greeted us and helped us get settled in. He was a pleasure to deal with. He gave us a tour of the property, pointed out wildlife, and during our stay drove us into town and to Manuel Antonio National Park. He was very responsive and helpful, but yet he respected our privacy. Thank you so much Bill! The resort itself is nothing short of spectacular. It is perched high on the cliffs with amazing views of the ocean. The grounds are manicured on a daily basis and there is plenty of wildlife to observe. It did not have that "large" resort feel because the houses and bungalows are individual units, providing a feeling of seclusion. The beach is absolutely amazing and never felt crowded. We enjoyed the challenge of hiking to the beach every day--what a workout! They also provide a shuttle service to the beach, but we never used it. David was quick to set us up with towels, chairs, and an umbrella. The kayaks and snorkeling gear are also a huge plus. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the resort. We ate at Barba Roja, Agua Azul, and Kapi Kapi. All three were great and moderately priced (Kapi Kapi is more high end). The resort does have food service at the family pool and it is sufficient if you are looking to grab a quick bite. We also had lunch at the beach early in our stay, but then it was closed due to its close proximity to the water (apparently some maritime infraction?). The good news is that they were still bringing food and drinks down to people from the pool facilities. In conclusion, we had a wonderful time and will be bacDid you find this review helpful? This was the most beautiful and relaxing vacation anyone could ask for. Casa Mirador was absolutely amazing. My husband and I stayed here with another couple and were blown away by the gorgeous house, the great amenities, the beautiful views, and the awesome staff. The staff at Tulemar definitely went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember. Our concierge Bill was fantastic. He was very respectful of our privacy but at the same time very attentive to all of our needs. He even made arrangements for us on his day off. David - treated us like royalty at the private beach. He would set up our chairs, offer towels, and provided us with a table for our cooler of beer (i think he mentioned so we didn't have to reach so far for our drinks). Daniela and Al I think are the best bartenders I know. They were quick to mix up drinks pool side that were VERY tasty and refreshing(Coco Loco was one of my favorites and I highly recommend). During our stay we did alot of sight seeing and visited many restaurants but what stands out the most is the Phenomenal food that chef Kris prepared. He came to our house, prepared and enduldged us in the most amazing food! Many mornings we would walk the grounds of Tulemar only to see families of squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, flocks of red and green parrots, a sloth (that the wonderful grounds crew ponted out to us), and many other critters. Who needs the national park when you can see everything with Tulemar. Every night we would end the night by watching the most magnificent sunset from our balcony. We have only been home a couple of weeks and we are ready to go back. Bill get ready we are coming with the entire family. Tulemar definitely made me a Costa Rican lover. Pura Vida!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

What an amazing view from Casa Panorama! The sunsets everyday into the Pacific Ocean are amazing. The frequent trips from the squirrel and white faced monkeys right to your balcony are memories that will last forever. The inside of Casa Panorama upper is beautiful with all of the amenities of home. Very spacious and also great views throughout. The hikes down to the beach are a lot of fun and great exercise. They are steep and Tulemar supplies a timely shuttle if you would like a ride. The walk down gives you a great opportunity to see squirrel, white faced and howler monkeys roaming the trees above. We also spotted a sloth with her baby, a boa constrictor and a toucan. The beach is private and nice with surprise visits from the monkeys. There are many restaurants right outside of Tulemar and the food is very good. Kapi Kapi, Agua Azul, Cafe Milagro and Victorias were some of our favorites. Kimberly is a great host and knows all of the tours and restaurants inside and out. Just tell her what you have in mind and she will provide all of the information you need to make a great choice. She then sets everything up hassel free. White water rafting and a tour with crocodile man were a ton of fun. The tour guides are really knowledgeable and made a novice white water rafter like myself feel completely safe. My girlfriend and myself had a dream vacation at Casa Panorama and can't wait to get back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I can't even put into words what an outstanding property this is...... But here we go anyway ! Lets start out with the casa (formerly casa panorama north) my wife and I stayed here with another couple and couldn't have been happier, the views alone are worth every penny and then some... monkeys visiting daily ... flocks of green and red parrots ( yes flocks ) right off our deck and every amenity that a fully stocked home would have ( toaster , blender , fridge,w/icemaker,etc.)....... But the best amenity this rental home came with in our opinion was the maid service and espicially our personal concierge Bill .... Took care of us in every way .... even on his day off ! ....... We treated ourselves one night to their in house private chef Kris and trust me it was a treat ....another thing well worth the money .... The staff here truly makes this place all that it is .... 5 star .... From Diego and Vanessa helping me set tours up before we were even there to David at the beach , Al and Daniella mixing our drinks ,to Marvin on the grounds crew pointing out numerous critters around the property ..... I've never researched a vacation as much as I did this one and all of it kept pointing back to Tulemar and for good reason it has it all !! ..... So just choose one of the bungalows or casas that best suits your needs and splurge..... you won't regret it ... WE WILL BE BACK!! ( just a warning Bill ... lol )Did you find this review helpful? We recently enjoyed a wonderful 6 nights at Casa Panorama South (lower unit). The property is very well equipped, extremely comfortable and has a balcony with great Ocean views. Tulemar Gardens was all we could have wished for - private beach, shuttle around the property, several swimming pools and monkeys to boot! Also perfect for our two little girls (6 and 4). Kimberly, the house manager at Casa Panorama was especially helpful and could not do enough to make our stay a successful one. We would recomend Casa Panorama to anyone looking to visit the Manuel Antonio region.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was a vacation of a lifetime. Casa Mirador was everything we could have asked for and then some. My husband and I stayed here with another couple and we were absolutely amazed at the beautiful views and all of the amenities that it has to offer. The staff at Tulemar was incredible - our concierge Bill was FANTASTIC...he was very attentive to all of our needs, even on his day off. Daniella and Al - the best bartenders (I highly recommend trying a Dirty Monkey or a Coco Loco!!) David - always set us up quickly with a beautiful spot on the amazing private beach. I highly recommend treating yourself to a night with Chef Kris... one word - phenomenal!! There was so much to see on the grounds of Tulemar...all of the monkeys, birds, all of the other animals and the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. We have been home less than a week and already can't wait to come back!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We just got back from the best family vacation we have ever had! We spent 6 nights in Manuel Antonio , at Tulemar, Casa Panorama Villa, my husband, 11 year old son and myself! The villa was wonderful, spacious for a 1 br, pullout sofa ,fantastic views, close to pool and walking distance to beautiful, private beach. Best boogie boarding ! We saw more monkeys, birds, iguana and sloth on the Tulemar property than we did in state park( which was beautiful)! Kimberly , our concierge was fantastic! She made our trip! Every adventure, activity she set up for us was great! We really had the best of the best! We will definitely go back.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We were two couples sharing Panarama north condo with an amazing view on the patio! Fresh fruit was waiting for us, beautiful flowers, and even a couple of stop bys with fresh baked goods on other mornings! The private beach was so easy to enjoy.... soft surf, umbrella, chair, and towel set -up, and a lovely breakfast and lunch spot under the trees steps from the water. Wildlife abounds here, and you don't need a tour to see plenty. We had a fun time snorkeling right off the cove by paddling out on kayaks from the beach. The shuttles are easy to catch for going up to the road to restaurants or getting up and down the hill from the beach or pools. We can't say enough good things about the attention to our needs by Diego and Bill. We would come back again if we're so lucky!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
