  We would like to pass along, not only that we enjoyed your condo very much, but especially the services provided by your property manager. She went out of her way to help us get settled in, answered all our questions, restaurant suggestions and also personally took us to run an errand and waited with us until we were done. Her assistance was greatly appreciated and made our stay even more pleasant.

  Casa Anita in the Sueno del Mar complex was a fantastic home away from home. It felt safe, clean, well maintained, and the staff is helpful. Birgit provided detailed information up front about the location, grocery and restaurants, beaches and many places to explore. When we arrived, her administrator Maria checked us in and provided a cell phone for local calls, and offered to help with arrangements for tours and special Christmas dinner; we really appreciated her professionalism and availability while we were there. We are not fond of all-inclusive resorts, preferring to get to know the people and culture of the local community. At Sueno del Mar, you can meet other condo owners and guests around the beautiful pool and then get out easily explore the area. This location is convenient to walk to either La Crucecita or Santa Cruz, or if you prefer it’s a $2 cab ride to either town center. There are many great restaurants and things to see. Playa Chahue is just in front of the complex and is a lovely beach, although swimming is dangerous there so beware. Our family enjoyed an all day private bay tour by boat, arranged via Maria, where we had a blast snorkeling and checking out all the bays west of Santa Cruz. Our also teens enjoyed spending a day at the Las Brisas resort; we paid $250 MX (about $20 US) for use of their facilities/towels/pools/beaches, and they give you $250 in resort credit to spend in restaurants, bar or gift shop. All the restaurants Birgit and Maria suggested were great and affordable. We visited the Terra Cotta three times! Casa Anita is tastefully decorated with all the comforts for your stay, including individual air conditioners in the bedrooms if you prefer a.c. over the ocean breezes. The second floor view is beautiful. There were only a couple of surprises to roll with: the outdoor grill was out of order the entire week, and the “pillow top” mattresses are more firm than one would expect. Loved Huatulco and Casa Anita, and hope to return soon.

  Hutaulco & Casa Anita, a perfect vacation" Our stay at Casa anita in Huatulco, Mexico was as perfect as it gets. We flew down there on a Saturday and stayed until the following Sunday. The accommodations were beautiful with a view that matched them. The Sueno Del Mar complex is as nice of a complex that we have stayed in and the people that live there are soo helpful! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

  We stayed in Casa Anita, a part of the Sueno del Mar condominium, for the month of February/12. This was our 2nd February in Huatulco and we have pretty much fallen in holiday love with the area. We discovered Sueno del Mar almost by accident during our first visit in 2011 and then a website search brought us to Casa Anita. Our visit this year was superb and Casa Anita was part of what made it that way. The building and unit are well built, well decorated and equipped, close to everything( groceries are less than a 10 min walk...the beach is 100 metres....many restaurants within an easy walk or short cab ride) and yet a serene, quiet spot. The building has rules/regs that assist in keeping the facility clean, comfy and provide for a secure feeling. Casa Anita itself has very comfortable beds/pillows...first rate appliances......air conditioned along with ceiling fans....even on the balcony which are almost a necessity. The suite layout was well thought out allowing total privacy between master bed/bath and 2nd bed/bath. The ensuite washer and dryer are a nice touch. Next year, I am bringing 1/2 the clothes. The staff at SdM are very helpful and available for virtually any need. Rick

  Can't wait to come back Left on 02/01/2011 for a stay in November 2010 Prior to going down to Huatulco, I was a bit skeptic about a number of things. I wanted to be sure that it was safe, that there was enough to do and that the place that I was staying at provided a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. I can report back that I achieved all of those and more. I was shocked to find that Casa anita provided me with more security than I am used to in the us!!! It was, by far, the most relaxing and incredible experience that I have had on vacation and would hope that all of my friends and other family members that weren't down there will be able to have the pleasure of staying at such a wonderful place. I was extremely pleased to find that there are many unique and exquisite restaurants in the area. I am eager to book another vacation down at Casa anita and hope that many more of our friends can join us!!!

  Luxurious Tropical Paradise Left on 02/01/2011 for a stay in December 2010 This was our first trip from Canada to Huatulco and we were a bid hesitant since we did not know much about Huatulco and the press has not been in favor of Mexico travel. What a surprise, a beautiful, very safe town surrounded by the mountains and beautiful beaches. The entire family loved Huatulco, but we hit the jackpot by staying in Casa anita. Everything the web site www.casaanita2007.com had promised was absolutely true. We loved our morning coffee on the large terrace overlooking the ocean, beach, pool and gardens. The colors of the impressive landscaping welcomed us every day. The condo is more than spacious for 4 adults with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed cooking some of our meals in the gourmet kitchen, but also used the BBQ outside. We are so happy that we were not stopped by all the bad publicity and found a new tropical paradise to return to. The staff was very helpful and friendly and always available, when needed. Thank you to the owner for sharing your beautiful Casa anita.

  We chose to spend our honeymoon in Huatulco after reading rave reviews about the scenery, atmosphere, and culture of this seaside Mexican resort town. We've been to Cancun and the Riviera Maya, but we didn't like the heavily commercialized "Disneyland" feel or the overinflated prices. Huatulco turned out to be the perfect alternative, and we're already planning our first year anniversary for a return visit! We found Casa Anita through HomeAway because we were looking for a private and upscale place to spend our honeymoon, and we didn't need the extra amenities of a hotel (room service, etc). It turned out to be a fantastic decision, because we were almost the only ones staying at the condo complex (October is also the low season). Still, we never felt too isolated, because all of the personnel at Sueno del Mar (the condo complex) were extremely helpful in checking us in and out and providing recommendations during our visit. The Casa Anita unit itself is huge and very luxurious - it's the equivalent of a high-end condo in the US or Europe. The beds were comfortable and spacious, the bathrooms were outstanding, and the living room & dining rooms were exceptional. Although it was fun to enjoy all of the space ourselves, the unit could easily fit 4-6 people comfortably across its two bedrooms. One note: there are a lot of tiny sugar ants (it's a tropical environment, so it was expected), so definitely store any food or drinks or candy inside the fridge. The balcony overlooked the beautiful pool and lounging area, and the complex was only about a 5 minute walk from the Chahue beach. Taxi rides to the quaint downtown (la Crucecita) were cheap and easy to find. Next door is an outstanding spa, too! We highly recommend a visit!   We´re back at home after a wonderful week in Huatulco at your place… Weather was very nice down there… Some other night we had rain but we enjoyed also beautiful sunny beach days, as well. It has been another lovely visit to Huatulco… we have been going down there for 10 times al least!!! Going by car has allowed us to go to a different bay every day, and even to go visiting Puerto Escondido and Mazunte Turtle Center. Everybody were very kind with us, and we loved your place, it is really beautiful. Thanks again We won´t hesitate to recommend your place with our friends, and we look forward to go another time with you...

  We´re back at home after a wonderful week in Huatulco at Casa Anita… Weather was very nice down there… Some other night we had rain but we enjoyed also beautiful sunny beach days, as well. It has been another lovely visit to Huatulco… we have been going down there for 10 times al least!!! We went walking to have breakfast and to Chahue beach. Going by car has allowed us to go to a different bay every day, and also going visiting Puerto Escondido and Mazunte Turtle Center. Everybody at Casa Anita, and in Huatulco area, were very kind with us, and we loved everything about Casa Anita, location, amenities, decoration, services, privacy, it is really beautiful.   Lovely condo, with all amenities. Large balcony overlooking picture perfect pool. Beautiful property, close to shopping and restaurants. Owner is thoughtful and responsive to all requests. Would go back in a heart beat!
