This Cozy Cottage, nestled in the woods of Manomet is just a two minute stroll to private Manomet Beach. In the past, we've offered just the main house (#58560) a 1924 Arts and Crafts period bungalow that sleeps 8-10, this year, we've decided to share the simple pleasures of our 12'x16' studio cottage also. Located on the same property, for folks who'd rather spend more time outdoors than in. Whether on the beach, kayaking, golfing, touring Plymouth, the Cape, Nantucket, Marthas Vineyard, or what ever draws your fancy this simple get-a-way cottage will suite you well.
There's a small herbal, and cutflower garden planted just outside your doorstep, so, Nature willing, you'll be able to enjoy light meals and sooth your senses with home steeped herbal teas and fresh cut flowers.
Pets are welcome and if you have small children and wish to make arrangements for them we can. They'll love the loft if you don't want to climb the stairs. In addition, we also offer daycare and room service if desired (Please inquire ahead). A two sit on top kayaks are available on site for rent and bring your bicycles too. Upon request, we also offer on or off-site Reiki and Massage sessions and Stillpoint Healing Sessions.
Halfway between Boston and Cape Cod there's no shortage of activities for those of you who are looking to do a little more exploring. Walk along Cape Cod Canal, visit neighboring beaches, jump on the ferry and head on over to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard for the day. Plymouth has many historic area attractions, the Plimouth Plantation, the Mayflower, Museums, the "rock". There's plenty of Golfing, Antique Shops, Restaurants "Duck" Tours...! Spend a night camping or a day hiking or biking the Myles Standish State Forest.
It's a great place to bring the family, relax and enjoy - All Year Long. If your anticipating taking advantage of the off-season quiet time, it's beautiful here while everything begins to awaken or fall into slumber again.
Whether your looking for a cozy romantic weekend or a simple small family getaway, it's an amazing space and suited for both.

PS Here's a few things the guests have graciously encouraged us to include for folks considering staying. "The Beach is spectacular, very private and beautiful, not jammed and crammed with lots of people and you avoid all the vacationing traffic." "It's really perfect for a couple not needing a big house and wanting to avoid paying for all the extra space." "Quiet area - turn the fans off at night when it cools down so you can hear the birds wake you up in the morning."
Folks also find they eat in more than they thought they would, with stores close by, fish markets and a grill. People enjoy sitting on the small shaded patio to eat breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. The "loft" going up to the double bed can be challenging for some folks physically, the ladder goes straight up the wall and really needs to be mentioned, the pictures don't really bring it to folks attention. There are however, two comfortable beds on the ground floor so please don't let it completely deter you and if you have children, they love climbing the ladder and sleeping in the cubby (which has a fan, vent and electricity). This goes for the stairs to the beach, as well. There are 120 stairs that go to the Beach from the top of the Bluffs. There are two landings (about every 30 steps) for folks who need to catch there breath and wish to enjoy the view. So, please consider this if you haven't physically challenged yourself lately or have health concerns. Take it slow, you are on vacation so there's no rush, sit and relax when you need to and use your common sense, if you shouldn't be taking the stairs because of heart conditions or such, please honor yourself and don't push it.
