**ASK US ABOUT DISCOUNTED LIFT TICKETS**
Come home at the end of an exhilarating day in Mammoth to your mountain sanctuary. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo is a home away from home, in a small, quiet complex. Sits 8000 feet up, yet is a 2 minute drive from town. The condo has panoramic views of the mountains, and a million-dollar view of the sunrise from the living room and master bedroom. Sit in the living room with your coffee and enjoy the sunrise, or hot toddy in the evening with the alpen glow over the mountains. We are 2 minutes drive to Canyon Lodger where you can buy lift tickets and get on the mountain. Or ski in/ski out for the adventurous: through the woods, half way down Blue Jay (chair 8), or walk 500 meters along Davison to Canyon Lodge. Peruse our eclectic selection of reading material in our cozy living room. TV-DVD in each bedroom, and large flat screen in living room.
Plenty of firewood available to sit in front of a roaring fire. Parking is right out front of the unit, park, unpack and walk in.
If you prefer cross-country skiing, the condo is about eight minutes to Tamarack Lodge Cross Country, the main cross-country place in Mammoth. Many trails begin there, and they rent skis and snow shoes as well. Mammoth is a winter wonderland, and the condo has easy access to it all, yet the fact that it's in a small complex (with a large Jacuzzi) makes it feel secluded and private.
The condo's master bedroom has a queen bed, an attached bathroom, and gorgeous views over the mountains. The second bathroom in the unit is right next to the second bedroom, which has a double bed and a twin bed arranged as bunk beds. Flat screen TV-DVD in both bedrooms. Another person can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room.
The open-concept floor plan means there are great views, from the kitchen, dining area and living room, of the mountains, snowcapped in the winter or just sparkingly gorgeous year-round.
Skiing is wonderful in Mammoth, but if you're planning a visit outside of ski season, there is no shortage of things to do. The great outdoors is on your doorstep at the condo; explore it via hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, anything you choose. The condo is near world-renowned outdoor beauty, such as Mono Lake and Yosemite National Park. That being said, after using this condo as a base camp for our high alpine explorations for many years, my husband and I have yet to exhaust the scenic trails just beyond our doorstep.
In any season, there's always something to see and do in and around Mammoth -- or you can just relax at the condo, your own mountain retreat.

The condo was so comfortable, very spacious main floor, we had a great time. The views are amazing, added to our enjoyment of the stay in Mammoth. We loved close proximity to Canyon Lodge, although we chose to drive and not walk. The owner, Carol, made the entire renting process easy and quick. Thank you very much! Hope to stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

This place was the perfect getaway. You really feel at home here and it is super cozy. My wife and I really enjoyed relaxing by the fire and admiring the sweeping views of the mountains from your balcony and master bedroom. We were happy to take advantage of the hot tub onsite while enjoying a glass of wine. Lastly the manager onsite was extremely helpful and friendly should you need anything. all in all this was a great experience and we will be back hopefully soon!! Oh I almost forgot working with Carol was a great experience it truly felt like I was talking to a friend which made my experience even better!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

This is the second time my friends and I have stayed at this condo and I could not say enough good things about it. Its perfect. The corospondance with the owner is so easy and she is such a sweetheart. The condo has everything you need. Cooking supplies, blankets, books, etc. The pot belly stove makes a perfect cozy environment for keeping warm. Its a great retreat after a day on the slopes. Its a 3 minute drive (if that) to Canyon lodge, and easy to get to the town. The heaters work great. The view is AMAZING! You actually want to get up early to see the sunrise. I cant say enough good things about it or the owners. Will definitely return!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

My family has now stayed in this beautiful condo on two separate one-week vacations. The owner is great to work with and the experience has been top-notch. I have two young children and working around meal schedules and nap schedules would be a nightmare in a normal hotel. This condo provided a perfect home away from home for my family. We are already looking forward to next year's trip!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children.

We had the most amazing trip to mammoth, the condo was neat and clean, warm and we felt right at home. It had everything we needed, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, tv, comfortable living room. Not to mention the amazing view! Sunrise and sunset were so beautiful. The condo is less than a 3 minute drive to the slopes, and the jucuzzi across the way was so nice after a long day on the mountain. The correspondence with carol was so easy and prompt! Would definitely rent their condo again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Having my morning tea on the deck as I watch the sun rise above the White Mountains to the east of the Owens Valley, is a great way to begin each day in this Mammoth condo. With all the comforts of home, it's a very clean, welcoming and homey place to relax into for a few days or a few weeks. It's close to ski lifts in the winter, and beautiful hiking trails in the summer and fall; and high mountain, pristine lakes are also nearby. The love that the owners, Carol and Tony, have for Mammoth is reflected in the home they have created, and in the way they handled my reservations. I always look forward to staying here when I visit Mammoth, and I would recommend it to friends and relatives.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

My wife and I stayed here with my best friend and his wife and we all thought it was perfect. The fireplace made it very cozy, especially if you are drinking hot chocolate when its snowing outside! It is soo close to the slopes..I'm used to driving at least an hour...not any more! The owners of the condo, Carol and her husband, are soo nice and accomadating. I felt an instant connection and I would never want to stay anywhere else when coming to Mammoth. Thank you guys for such a wonderful experience!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

This is a great condo, located just 3 minute drive (or if it is snows, a 10 min walk) to Canyons Lodge. The condo has a spacious upstairs living area and is well equipped so you feel like you're at home! The views from the living area/balcony are beautiful, and we loved the wood fire and the hot tub. This condo is ideal for 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The owner Carol was exceptionally helpful throughout the booking procedure. It was a pleasure to stay here and I can't wait to return!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

About the owner: Tony and Carol are avid outdoors people who love to spend time in nature. They live in the beach town of Encinitas where Tony surfs and Carol hikes and walks on the beach. They love to ski and hike together, and they fell in love with the hiking and skiing of the Sierras, home of John Muir Wilderness and Yosemite Park. The town of Mammoth is quaint and cozy and the people are friendly. Buying a condo in Mammoth allows them to visit as often as possible and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
Why the Owner Chose Mammoth Point:
Mammoth Mountain has some of the best snow in the world. The hiking trails are extensive and Mammoth and the Sierras are a backpacker's delight. Any trail will lead you to a lake or two, and the beauty is spectacular, with views in virtually every direction.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Canyon Lodge is 2 minutes from the condo, and you can rent skis or get your lift tickets there, while avoiding the crowds at the Main Lodge. 8 minutes down the road is the famous Tamarack Lodge, home of the cross-country ski track. You can rent cross-country skis there and head out, or take a lesson. Or you can rent some snow shoes in town and head out the many trails of Tamarack. June Lake is 10 minutes away, with kayaking available, and within 5 minutes of the condo are many lakes for fishing. A fisherman's paradise. The famous Mono Lake is 20 minutes away, and Yosemite is down the road. In the summer, heading out from the condo, within 10 minutes you can be on beautiful hiking trails leading to summits and lakes and meeting up with the Pacific Crest Trail, or the John Muir Trail.
