This unit is a beautiful, Floridian style, two bedroom, one bath condo in a quiet condominium development in Southwest Florida. Davis Woods Condominiums is located less than a mile from the Sanibel bridge and less than two miles from Ft Myers beach, in Ft. Myers Beach, FL. The community boasts friendly retirees and families both on vacation and permanently residing in the community.
Guests can enjoy the neatly groomed landscape including the small lake complete with a fountain and turtles, as well as the perfectly heated and clean pool and sundeck area. Tennis courts, shuffleboard, and a small basketball court are all nearby and user friendly. The condo itself, unit 424, is up a flight of stairs on the second floor, off of the outdoor courtyard, situated next to the common pathway to the pool area. The kitchen is to the right of the entry area, with the living room to the back of the space, and the bedrooms with adjoining bathroom to the right of the living/dining area.
The space is bright and fresh with new carpeting and light colored furniture and equipment. In addition the stacked washer/dryer unit in less than two years old, like new. Continuing through the living room, or off the master bedroom, you can open up to the spacious screened-in balcony with ceiling fan and lighting. The balcony overlooks the serene lake and pool area, as well as the surrounding condo units.
The location of the condo development is central to both Ft Myers Beach and the world renowned Sanibel Island. Less than a mile will take you to the toll bridge to Sanibel Island and Captiva where there are numerous pristine beaches and small town-like atmospheres with some of the freshest seafood and beautiful views in Florida. Less than two miles in the other direction will take you over the Ft Myers Beach bridge to the exciting beachside community that is Ft Myers Beach. There is always something happening on the beach, whether its the park/public beach area, the hotel designated beach spots, or the extensive Ft Myers Beach Pier. You will find fishing, parasailing, jet skiing, wake boarding, dining and boating. Whether in season or out, people enjoy the beach year round with temperatures in the 80's and the water clear and warm.
Throughout the areas there are many dining opportunities, beachside, landside, and waterside. Some of the most popular are located in Captiva on Sanibel Island, and on the back bay and beachside of Ft Myers Beach. The Carletti Family has owned property in this area for 10 plus years, and has been traveling to Southwest Florida since the kids were very young. After vacationing all along the gulf coast, they have decided that Ft Myers offers the best location and amenities on the gulf.
