  I stayed 2 weeks in the studio apartment on Flavia, above the Hotel Medici. The host was helpful and ever-so-friendly, the location was perfect for sightseeing and also had many great restaurants very close at hand, the apartment was clean and comfortable, the listing and photos accurate, and, with the apartment access being through the Hotel Medici, I couldn't have felt safer (very important for a female traveling alone, like me). I would without reservation recommend this apartment to solo travellers and happily stay at this apartment again on my next visit to Rome.

  Our stay at Niccolo's Studio Apartment was perfect. Exactly as described, easy to find, within walking distance of metro stop and Termini Station. It's the perfect size for a couple. Niccolo was extremely easy to work with, quickly answering all my questions and working with us when our flight was delayed. Fantastic restaurant across the street and a nice grocery less than a block away. I highly recommend this apartment and if/when we return to Rome, this will be our first choice of places to stay. One note: Be sure to ask how to work the washer when you arrive...our trial and error was quite amusing...but could have been avoided if I'd just asked.

  This is a very good apartment that we stayed at in rome in July 2012. Everything about it surpassed our expectations. The location was perfect just minutes from all the attractions yet away from the crowds. The terrace was great for breakfasts and evenings with wine. Thank you Nicolo for a great stay!

  This was our first experience with a VRBO property, were looking for something affordable but better than a small hotel room, and this apartment did not disappoint! Niccolò, the owner, was timely with email responses and has excellent English! Additionally, when our arrival time was significantly delayed, we were so happy to find out he had automatically checked our flight and adjusted his time schedule to meet us later (we had no cell with us). After a long travel experience, seeing him greet us made our day! The apartment was exactly as described and photographed. Clean, ample storage, large bathroom with lots of hot water and excellent rain shower/handheld option, excellent private terrace, great wifi, and a very small, but nicely equipped kitchen space. There's even a wash machine should you need it, and a clothes dryer stand that you could setup inside or out. The bed was a good size (queen I think?) and firm but quite comfortable. I'd have to think long and hard to try and find something I disliked... the pillows a bit too hard? Seriously, that's all I've got! The building felt very secure as you enter through a hotel entrance (someone always at the desk) and take the lift (or stairs) to the top floor where the apartment is located. The immediate street is quieter (better for sleeping), but still contains a few good restaurants, cafes, small grocery, and a superb gelateria (I Caruso) right around the corner from the building. Roma Termini is a 10-15 minute walk and the Repubblica metro is a bit less than that. Honestly, we only used the metro a couple times when we went back and forth to Vatican City. Otherwise, we found that we could reach most of the major sites after a good 20-30 minute walk. Much needed when you enjoy as much gelato as we do! Had a great first time stay in Rome and loved coming back to this apartment at night. Felt so relaxed and happy staying there! My fiancée and I would definitely recommend. Thanks Niccolò!

  Excellent apartment with great terrace in the city center of Rome. Super clean and bright with excellent mattress. Everything is nearby. Nicolo was a very good host. Would definitely stay there again.

  We stayed in this apartment for 10 days In November 2011 and loved it. Great location with lots of great restaurants close by. The owner was great and kept in contact with us via email. Internet access was great as was the shower.

  This is a wonderful apartment! Very well appointed and cozy comfortable. Perfect for a couple or two very close friends, as there is one (very comfortable) bed. The kitchen alcove is tiny, but I was able to prepare meals in there with no problem. This is located on the roof of a hotel, with has very friendly and helpful staff. They were not required to assist me in any way, but they did help me with printing out a boarding card before we departed. Kind and genial folks whenever we encountered them. We spent three nights here in mid-November. The weather was still nice enough to eat on the terrace. It is within five minutes' walk to either line of the Metro subway, and also to Termini. There are grocers and shops nearby to pick up any supplies and many places to eat if you aren't doing your own cooking. Niccolo is very accessible via email or telephone. I was able to get all my questions answered prior to booking very quickly and he is very explicit in giving directions. Thank you so much, Niccolo - I look forward to renting from you again on my next stay.

  We had a great time in Rome and welcomed returning to this charming studio every night. The listing and pictures are very accurate. The studio was clean, well-maintained and quiet. The location could not be beat, close to attractions and walking distance to the termini station. As two women traveling alone the location was very safe and we often returned later at night with no hesitation. The rental transaction was very easy and Niccolo was excellent. He made sure we had everything we needed including the use of a computer. I would reccomment this property to anyone I know. The studio is great for 2 people, plenty of room, one large bed. Looking forward to renting again. Thanks Niccolo.

  My husband and I stayed 8 nights at the flat the end of November. The location, size and price met our needs perfectly. The location was very accessible with an easy short walk to the Repubblica metro, the Termini and the Villa Borghese. Actually we walked to St. Peters and the Imperial Forum about 30 minutes or so in either direction. Also, because the flat is in a parliamentary area, we discovered some great restaurants, bars and lovely patisseries quite close that were frequented by politicos and business people but not many tourists. The flat is quiet with perfect wifi connection. The bed was very comfortable and the washing machine convenient for long stays. It was also nice to have a kitchen, though amazingly small, for fixing a light snack when we were simply too tired to go out for dinner. And finally Niccolo as others have mentioned was charming and very willing to help if needed. The hotel staff was also helpful and let us use their computer and printer one morning to print museum passes. All in all we enjoyed a fantastic trip to Rome, even with the intermittent rain. Rome is truly a magical place. We hope to return sooner than later and would happily rent the flat again. Stephanie + Brad
