We stayed at the Residence Tournelles for 4 nights in April. The apartment is in a great location, very close to metro station and walking distance to many sights. The apartment is very nicely decorated and well equipped. Very suitable for 2 people. We were met at the apartment by Quentin's associate who was very helpful in making sure we understood how to operate the equipment and in answering our questions regarding the area. Email communication with Quentin was quite easy and all questions answered promptly. We would definitely recommend this apartment!

I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. The place was extremely clean and well decorated. It faces a courtyard away from the street and was therefore very quiet despite being in the busy Marais area. The street the apartment was located on was itself pretty quiet even though it was very close to the Bastille metro stop. Quentin's brother was very helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible. I would definitely stay here again or in any other properties Quentin owns and rents. It was very nice to have free international calls back to the US and free internet access. I thought having a DVD player with some movies available was a nice touch as well, especially if you don't want to watch the news all the time.

Everything about this apartment is as promised. The location is fantastic...two minutes from the Bastille Metro plus the Marais, the islands and an unlimited variety of shops, restaurants and museums are all within walking distance. The apartment is small but efficient. The shower is great and, most importantly, the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen worked for keeping cheese, snacks and wine. We did use the coffee maker (but bought our morning goodies at the great Boulangerie just across the street). All in all, especially given the cost, this was a great deal. Thanks Quentin!

We stayed at the flat for four nights on our trip to Paris. The apartment is exactly as described and looks even better in person. The location is unbeatable with numerous restaurants within walking distance and three Metro stops all very close. Many major sights are within walking distance, too such as Notre Dame, the Pompidou Center, Saint-Chappelle, and the best falafel stand in Paris! The queen size bed is very comfortable and the shower has great water pressure and plenty of hot water. I recommend this apartment without hesitation!

My daughter and I spent five nights in this apartment. It was perfect for us: clean, safe, convenient to sites, including an out door market and Bastille Metro station. The bed was very comfortable and the shower especially good. We easily walked to the Louvre and Notre Dame. Quentin was attentive and left us a handy information card. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment during our week trip to Paris. The apartment is very cozy, with all the amenities we needed (phone, computer, washing machine, comfortable bed, eating area, fridge, freezer...). The apartment is very up to date and bigger than any hotel you could find for this price. Staying in an apartment, we got to experience life in Paris as a local and loved it. The apartment is very close to metro stations, fabulous bakeries, delicious restaurants and the boutiques of the Marais. It is in the perfect location for exploring central Paris, and very convenient if you want to take a break between touring and going out for the evening. We walked all around the city from the apartment, wandering through the many close by neighborhoods and having a fabulous time!

Home away from Home and a model of space efficiency! Perfectly situated in the Marais with a large window overlooking a small courtyard, a spacious glass-tiled shower, an adorable and efficient IKEA outfitted kitchenette with all the cookware, utensils, and dishes you need to cook great meals! After sightseeing in Paris all day, we looked forward to our cozy, quiet and comfortable retreat. Quentin thought of everything including a large, vertical rack to accompany the super-spin washing machine tucked under the counter in the kitchen. Quentin himself - gracious, helpful, and kind - like all of his fellow countrymen/women. Super modern, super clean, superb. Thank you, Quentin

My wife and I had a wondeful stay in this apartment. The description on this website and pictures are all accurate. Quentin attended immediately to all our questions. The place was clean, very close to the metro, making it all accessible to all the attractions. I would particularly say the bed was so comfy, we had a good sleep every night after a long tiring day. Having an access to the computer and can make free long distace calls to our family back home was a big plus. I would surely recommend this place to our family and friends who are planning to visit Paris, as we were so glad we made an excellent choice on this one.

My husband and I stayed in this charming apartment in early November and were thoroughly pleased with the entire experience. Quentin was very sweet and accommodating and the apartment itself was very well-equipped...it even had a computer for us to use! The location was also ideal...we couldn't have been in a better spot! The Metro is right around the corner, there are two delicious patisseries right across the street and there is a parking garage (if you have a car). The Louvre, Notre Dame, Rue St. Honore, Place des Vosges, numerous art galleries...we were in heaven! We highly recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to Paris...we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The location is quiet and ideal for getting around Paris. The neighborhood is very quaint and charming. Quentin has done an exceptional job with the decor and making it modern and comfortable. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to experience living in Paris. Thank you Quentin.

We stayed at les Tournelles for a few days in late July 2011. We would totally rent there again. Quentin and Francois were extremely responsive and helpful. The apartment is really cute, stocked with essentials, and had a computer with(fast) internet, great for finding out more info on what to visit in the area. The location is extremely convenient, right around the corner from the Bastille metro and a velo libre station. Lots of restaurants are nearby, including the As du Falafel and the awesome yiddish bakery on rue de Rosiers. I hesitate to write a review because I want to keep this treasure our secret and I hope to rent from Quentin and Francois again next year! Merci!!!

My daughter and I spent 9 nights at this lovely apartment this July 2011. The apartment was everything we expected, clean, comfortable and compact. Quentin was so sweet, finding us on the street and even carried our bags up the stairs. He and his brother have taken great care to fix the apartment up very cute and have thought of all the details to make it comfortable. Quentin even made arraingements for us to have a basket of yummy treats when we arrived, which was appreciated after a long day of travel (especially the wine!). It was wonderful to be able to call home on the phone and use the computer (my daughter kept in touch with her friends on Facebook). The location was great, easy access to the metro, and from there the city is at your feet. The neighborhood has groceries, bakery and resturaunts (we esp. Loved the Itailan resturaunt right next door) all within easy walking distance and Saturday morning there is a great street fair right off Place Bastille. It was so nice to have our own space in the city, much better then a hotel room! I would stay here again in a heartbeat (maybe with my husband next time :-)

We had a very enjoyable 2-night stay at the Tournelles flat. The apartment is on the small side, but so are most hotel rooms in Paris, and this place had the advantage of a small kitchen, a computer with fast internet access, and free international and domestic telephone calls. We would have liked a bit more space to put our luggage, but other than that, we loved the flat. The bed was one of the best we slept in during our 10-day trip to France, and the large shower was great. All in all, a great alternative to overpriced hotel rooms.

This studio apartment was perfect for my husband and I. It is in a great location, and we enjoyed walking in the neighbourhood. It is about twenty minutes walk from Notre Dame, and from there we used the Batobus to get to the major sites of the city. It isn't as fast as the underground, but a much pleasanter way to experience Paris. The apartment was spotlesslly clean, nicely appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. The WiFi, was available as advertised, and the ability to phone out of the country for free was a bonus. Quentin was very pleasant and always prompt. I would recommend this studio apartment to any couple travelling to Paris, and we plan to use it ourselves when we return.

The flat was just as advertised. It was well designed, making maximum and good use of the smallish space. There was even a computer for us to use and a phone w free calls within France & the US (non-cellular). We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet, clean and safe flat in the Marais. Great value for the money. And Quentin went out of his way to make us welcome. Thank you.

We absolultely loved staying in Tournelles! It was the perfect location, as we've stayed in a nearby 5* hotel several times and love being close to the metro and Place des Vosges. Everything you need, clean and well-appointed. Metro just around corner w/3 lines. Fabulous restaurants nearby, great patisserie down street. Quentin most helpful. Free calls to US, WIFI, Washer--a great value!

My wife and I stayed at Residence Tournelles for twenty six days so we really got to know the place. This cozy studio is exactly as described and pictured and more. Besides the DVD/CD player, there is a selection of movies and music to play and along with the broadband computer there are art books, travel guides and maps. Located on a quiet street in one of the best neighborhoods in Paris, you are surrounded by small boutique shops, bistros, restaurants, bakeries, museums, and parks. The Bastille Metro station is a one minute walk away and Place des Vosges is two minutes. It is easy walking distance to major attractions like the Hotel de Ville, Center Pompidou, and Notre Dame. Quentin, the owner, is friendly and a pleasure to deal with. He will greet you and explain everything, and if there is anything you need or want, he is always available and takes care of you immediately. Thank you Quentin for the excellent accommodation.

I chose this apartment after looking at quite a few online and I'm so glad I did. Although fairly small, it has everything you could need and is very well designed, so it feels much bigger than it actually is. The furnishings seem brand new and it was spotlessly clean. There are many small, thoughtful touches in the apartment that you really feel at home, and it's a wonderful place to return to after a long day of walking (very comfy bed and nice, strong hot shower)! The location is absolutely fantastic - just off the beaten path, so it was very peaceful and quiet, yet only a short walk to all the fabulous restaurants and shops in the Marais. The price was great and the owner, Quentin, was very helpful and quick to respond to any question. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed in the flat for four days and really loved it. It was clean, warm and cozy. The location is excellent, very close to the metro station and in a nice and lively (but quiet) neighbourhood. Quentin was very kind and helpful. When he realized that we could not use our laptop because of the Italian plug, he purchased a plug adapter straight away. We highly recommend Residence Tournelles for a romantic getaway. We will definitely rent this flat again on our next trip to Paris. Grazie Quentin! A bien tot!

We loved staying here! Incredibly easy to get to, Quentin was there when we arrived (we were 5 hours late). The apartment is perfect for a short or long stay in Paris and you are walking distance from so many great places to eat! Les Bonnes Soeurs is less then one block north is amazingly yummy. We really hope that we will be staying here again in the future...we're telling all our friends to contact Quentin when they visit Paris!

Residence Tournelles is an ideal place to stay in Paris. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Bastille station. The apartment is a studio with everything: comfy bed, updated bathroom, stove, microwave, cookery, utensils, washer, heater, big flat screen TV, and computer. Not spacious, but all the amenities are available and most of the time we were out seeing Paris. The booking process was easy to do. Thank you Quentin!

quentin's flat in paris is fantastic! we had a super time staying there over new year's and couldn't have asked for a better host. not only was quentin great on pre-trip communications and always got right back to us right away, but he patiently waited to welcome us to his flat until 230AM the evening we arrived in paris (!). our flight from florence to paris had been delayed by 9 hours (!!!) and yet he made sure he was there to welcome us 'home' to paris. other super things about his apartment: super clean, quiet, well-decorated, free internet and free international and local calls to land lines. we will definitely stay with quentin again when we return to paris! :)

This property was truly wonderful to stay in. We arrived late because of flight connection problems, but Quentin was still there to greet us, and was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay of seven days. The apartment was clean, well-decorated, warm, and comfortable, with an incredible shower, and a bed so comfy it was hard to get up in the morning. With a large courtyard and a twisting set of stairs, the apartment complex was incredibly picturesque, and gave us the feeling of being part of a Parisian neighborhood. The location of the apartment on a very quiet street, in the beautiful and less touristy Marais neighborhood, was a perfect way to experience Paris.

We stayed in the flat for 4 nights in late November. The location was perfect, very close to restaurants, bars, and shops. Also centrally located near metro lines and (with not too much walking) major tourist attractions. The flat was nicely furnished, with all the basic amenities, and the bed was especially comfortable. The bathroom is a marvel of engineering, and is very tiny! Quentin was a great host and made sure we had some sorely needed coffee when we arrived. All told a great place to stay, and would definitely consider it again for a stay in downtown Paris!

The apartment was a great alternative to a hotel. It was nice to come back at the end of a day to an apartment with all the amenities of a home. The location was excellent and it was nice to feel part of a neighborhood, a great way to experience a city. It was very continent to be close to a metro stop and the metro line that it was on, was also the metro line to most of the best tourist attractions. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the décor and finishers were of the highest quality and good taste. The attention to detail of providing items such as shampoo. coffee, tea etc were much appreciated. I look forward to staying here again in the future. Jonathan

We had a wonderful time at renting 2 apartments on Rue des Tournelles for 4 nights. It was so convenient to have both couples in the same building, but to have complete privacy by being in separate quarters. The facilities are amazing, with everything we could want, and brand new besides. Traveling in September 2009 the weather was perfect, so no need for heat or air conditioning, though both are provided. Having free internet access and phone calls to the USA was a wonderful bonus! We used the internet daily. The kitchen is well supplied, though we didn't use it much with so many good places to eat in Paris! The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom well supplied. We used the clothes washer, though I think we ended up with a much longer cycle than needed, the instructions weren't remembered clearly. I think the apartments are a very good value, well located near lots to do, but quiet and cozy. The absolute BEST part of the deal is the owner's (Quentin) personal touch. We never would have located the parking garage without his assistance. We will recommend these apartments to any of our friends who will be coming to Paris!
