Our casita is nestled in the desert hills of Green Valley. You'll find the spectacular view of the Santa Rita Mountains invites you to "Just sit and look." Bask in sunshine on the patio and enjoy mountain sunrises and afternoon shade. Looking down the hillside, observe the natural desert vegetation and great variety of songbirds and other wildlife. The Desert Casitas are located in a beautiful area of Green Valley with easy access to biking and hiking trails and within walking distance of the Desert Hills Recreation Center and Elks Club. You'll enjoy being part of the attractive and well-maintained area. The owner has membership in the Green Valley Recreation Association so for a small fee, tenants can obtain a temporary membership allowing use of all recreation centers and pools in the Green Valley area.
The casita has just been redecorated with fresh new colors, tile countertops and floors. The warm desert tones and Southwestern-Mexican flair of the decor will set you in the mood to enjoy the Arizona sunshine and culture. The raised ceilings and skylights create a bright, sunny interior. There is a full service kitchen and ample dining room space to entertain guests as well as a large patio table and BBQ grill for outdoor meals. A large TV with VHS and DVD player is in the living room as well as a smaller flat screen TV with DVD player in the bedroom. The entertainment center in the living room also provides space and connections for a laptop computer.
While in Green Valley, you may find yourselves just relaxing, spending many hours on the patio enjoying the sunshine and mountain view, or you may take advantage of the wonderful golfing venues or other opportunities. Our casita is located next to the Desert Hills Golf Club and close to other popular courses; it is a haven for golfers! Just a 20 minute drive will take you to Madera Canyon for a morning hike. Madera Canyon has world-wide appeal for bird-watching, with over 200 different species of birds. Historic Tubac, a charming "artsy" village just 30 minutes south, provides a well remembered shopping experience. Tucson has numerous attractions, including an excellent Desert Museum which highlights desert vegetation and wildlife.

June through September: $700/month
A $200 security deposit and $100 non refundable cleaning fee is required
for all leases. The security deposit will be refunded upon receipt of
keys and verification by the cleaner that there has been no damage
and extraordinary cleaning or repair was not necessary.

We have returned to Green Valley for eight years in a row and of all the places we have visited, this area seemed right for us. The weather is sunny and bright almost every day, the traffic is non-threatening, the area feels safe, and there is a multitude of interesting things to do.

The most unique benefit to our particular property is the spectacular mountain view from the patio and living room. Directly below our patio is a large natural area which creates a special opportunity for bird-watching and observing other wildlife and desert vegetation.
