Year Purchased: 2010
Lincoln and Heather, along with their two teenagers, have lived and played in the mountains of Southwest Colorado for over ten years. Even though they love skiing, boarding and snowshoeing, they were looking for a special place where they could enjoy a wider variety of outdoor activities even in the winter months. Heather and Lincoln looked all over southern Arizona and Tucson and finally settled on the Catalina Foothills. Being in the foothills allows them easy access to hiking trails, mountain and road biking, tennis and golf. An added bonus is that the beaches in Mexico are only a short 4 hours away so they can even do a daytrip to get a beach fix!

I biked and hiked all week, in shorts, on my first visit in December 2009. Really appreciated the quiet and privacy of the unit especially when I brought my finance on my second visit. She loved the wine and fresh flowers! The unit has everything you need without the clutter. We'll be back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ventana Canyon. The accommodations were great, the condo community had the facilities we wanted, and the location was perfect. We liked being close to the beauty and hiking trails in the Sabina Canyon Recreation Area. The unit is tastefully decorated, has a well equipped kitchen, and is stocked with books about the area as well as recreational reading material, DVDs, and CDs.
