Your beach paradise awaits you. Once you are inside the gate, your vacation begins. This 3 level home, across the street from the sand, provides ocean views from all 4 bedrooms, living room, kitchen/dining area, front balcony and back yard deck. For those of you who enjoy the beach life you will be impressed with the clean uncrowded sandy beach. Our guests spend their days breathing in the fresh ocean air and listening to the ocean waves. Our guests also enjoy swimming, surfing, whale/dolphin/seal watching, collecting sand dollars and sea glass, walking along the expansive coast, roasting marshmallows at beach bonfires, bike riding, sunbathing, reading and relaxing.
This wonderful family vacation home is located on Beach Drive, a premier rental area, and is a member of the Rio Surf and Sand Homeowners Association. You will be renting in a private gated community that provides round the clock security for all of its members and guest families. This home is located 15 minutes south of Santa Cruz, 45 minutes north of Carmel, Monterey and Pebble Beach, 40 minutes south of Silicon Valley and 1 1/2 hours south of San Francisco. Quaint Aptos Village and Capitola Village are just minutes away.
This vacation home has a reverse floor plan which affords fantastic ocean views. Wireless Internet service is provided.
We have three parking permits for parking parking spaces in front of our home
The first level of the home was designed for the beachgoers. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand, laundry room with 1/2 bath, a kitchen with a sink, refrigerator, microwave and kitchen table, 1 queen size bed, cable TV and sofa's in a down stairs room.
The second level of the home has 2 bedrooms with California King size beds and cable TV's. The third bedroom on this level has a queen size bed. There is a full bath on this level and a sitting area perfect for reading. A small back yard deck on this level offers garden and ocean views.
The third/top level has a balcony with expansive white water views, master suite with 1 California king size bed, 1 full bathroom, living room with flat screen cable TV and DVD, kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining area, back patio ocean view deck with gas and charcoal barbeques, patio table and umbrella.
Whether your vacation is an action packed adventure, or filled with relaxing days and evenings, you will leave refreshed and renewed and you will take home with you memories that will last a lifetime.

Great place for a family reunion!

We gathered at this wonderful house for a birthday celebration. I cannot imagine a better place. It is spacious, comfortable, lots of bedrooms and comfy beds. The kitchen is very well equipped; everything was clean and well cared for. We had everything we wanted. Diane, the owner, was so helpful and friendly-- she's practically an honorary family member at this point. And to top it all: great weather, surfing classes and dolphins and whales to watch..... a piece of paradise, for sure. We are wanting another family reunion there soon!

The owner was a pleasure to work with. She had excellent communication, I would shoot her an email and instantly get response. Not only was the communication was great, but the house was beautiful. It was comfortable and my students and I felt like home. The view of the ocean was beautiful and there was plenty of room for 11 of us. We definitely plan to come back. Great Place For Friends Weekend Away!

Our women's group has an annual weekend getaway at a beach house, and this was definitely one of the best places we've stayed. It was spacious, filled with light, gorgeous views of the ocean, comfortable furniture in the living room, luxurious bedrooms. We loved the fact that the kitchen and living area were connected so that the cook wasn't ever left alone! And as someone who loves to cook, I can tell you that the kitchen was a delight because it was so well equipped and clean. The drawers were even well organized and neat, which is almost unheard of in rental places! Diane was very gracious to work with, and made sure we had the " extras" we wanted,( i.e. a table for bridge and folding chairs) Though our group was all adults, it would be perfect for families because of the lower level where kids could play and adults could still have some quiet space two floors up! I highly recommend this place; we liked it so much that we just transferred our deposit to hold a space for next year.

A very comfortable, cozy house that all 12 of our family could fit into with great ocean views. Everything was clean and the beds comfortable and right on the beach for beautiful walks. I would recommend this home.

Our family enjoyed our time in Aptos last summer in this beautiful home. The location is perfect; right on the beach with privacy and easy access to all the area offers. The home itself accomodated three couples plus one of our young adult children easily. The layout allows for privacy, with several balconies and a spectacular view from the upstairs living room. The hosts provide all you could ask for in the way of kitchen items, as well as very comfortable beds and beautifully decorated rooms.

Nine girlfriends got together to celerbrate the Big 50!! We had a great time !! The beach house is Beautiful and the veiw is unreal !! We had a bonfire on the beach!! We thought we would go out for dinner but we never left the beach house we had everything we needed to have a nice dinner in. Can"t wait till 2011 because we are going to come back for our now once a year get together at this beach house!!!
