This spectacular log home is your private retreat nestled in the gently rolling hills of Williamson County Tennessee just minutes from Leipers Fork. The winding country roads leading to this secluded estate are picture postcard perfect. No wonder so many celebrities call this unique part of the Nashville area home. The close proximity to Nashville's legendary Music Row also makes it the perfect temporary residence for recording artists and entertainment professionals looking for a little peace and quiet during their Nashville stay. The pastoral setting also makes Lyric Springs Retreat House perfect for retreats or family reunions.
The property is located minutes from the Nashville entrance to the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail. We loved the house - the kitchen, the huge windows, the hot tub and the gorgeous fall weather. This is a part of the US that I have never really seen and it is absolutely fantastic. And it was a super place to have our friends and family from out of town stay for our son's wedding in Dickson.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

Wow!!! I was so pleased to find the house just as it is pictured on the internet. My family was in town for my sons wedding and 17 of us stayed there for three nights. It was absolutely the best rental experience I have ever had. If you are ever in this area and need a great place to stay, I promise you will not be disappointed. The property was very clean and well maintained. My only regret is that we had a busy weekend and did not get to spend more time at the property. This one is a winner folks!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

It has been my great pleasure to stay at Lyric Springs several times. The property is just gorgeous. The home itself is as warm and inviting as it is spacious. The photos of the master suite simply do not do it justice. You could play touch football in there it is so large! (Though I don't imagine the homeowners would want you to do that.) And as ginormous as the rooms are (master suite, great room, upstairs bedrooms, home theater room) there are also little nooks where you can curl up with a good book or sit and enjoy an intimate conversation. The dining room just begs for a big group to share a meal and lively conversation together. The balconies offer quiet places to enjoy the views. The land is rambling and beautiful and fun to explore. And there's a hot tub! The homeowners are a dream to work with, too. I could go and on. Oh, I already have!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 8/8

I would highly recommend this property to both those in town on business who can be within a 1 hour drive of the property (Brentwood area was about 45 to an hour) or for family reunions. Grounds are breathtaking, expansive, and amazing in the Fall. Bonfire was a nice touch one evening down at the edge of the clearing under the trees. Property looks exactly like this picture displays at night. Bedroom accomondations were nice. Master is enormous (almost to an unusual degree) with the only private bath on the property (large bath). Downstairs bedrooms share a connecting door and have a single bath/utility room. The theatre is also down here. The upstairs has two very large rooms with quite a bit in terms of sleeping accomodations. Each room can probably comfortably sleep 5-8 kids, complete with a kids library and TV in the center of the floor with a balcony from below to keep an eye on them. Living room is magnificent with enormous ceilings, a beautiful fireplace, and floor to ceiling window wall that allows you to look over an extremely private property. The kitchen has all the utensils and appliances you need to prepare just about any meal. One of our guests was able to prepare 5 and 7 course meals rather quickly without much of an issue to serve 5 people. Dining room is very large and can easily handle groups much larger than our own. Five families would have plenty of space and privacy on this property. Outside has a large play area/playset for kids, a swimming pool, and a large jacuzzi, as well as the previously mentioned fire pit at the edge of the clearing. The grounds are massive and any level of play/game would work here (thinking reunion). Property owners are very pleasant and excellent hosts. Overall, this was a 5 star property for our business travel needs. Well worth every penny we spent here.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

WOW! What an amazing house. It was the perfect setting for our group's retreat, and we all loved both the house and the grounds (including a well-stocked kitchen, fire pit, hot tub, and gorgeous surroundings). Everything was perfect, and we were grateful for the opportunity to stay in this amazing home.Owner response: Lyric Springs is a great destination for groups, retreats and family gatherings. The spacious house and grounds do make it ideal all year round!

This house was perfect for nine ladies on a get away weekend! We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings as well as surrounding areas of Leiper's Fork, Franklin, the Natchez Trace, and Nashville. The big kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and basic condiments and spices. We even used the grill outside. We loved the hot tub and the spacious house. Dave and Angela were great to book with. Would recommend to anyone!Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.

I rented this house for my wife's 30th birthday - WOW! We spent the weekend here with friends and the house and setting were just perfect. The location is great - on the hilltop you feel secluded, but are also just a few minutes from Leipers Fork and Franklin, Loveless Cafe, Natchez Trace Parkway, etc... We were here in February - and though the weather was chilly, the house is complete with a hot tub and outdoor fire pit, and a great room with fireplace so there is plenty of warmth. And what you can't see in the photos, GREAT BEDDING, makes for a very comfortable stay - and perhaps that is what this house does the best...it has the little things to make your stay comfortable, in addition to the obvious things people look for in a vacation rental. Loved our stay - hope to go back soon!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, age 55+.
Owner response: A warm gathering place for friends to create memories for a lifetime. Yes!

We chose to stay in the Nashville area for our "every-other-year" reunion. This house and property were absolutely amazing. We had 13 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for all. The property was clean and neat and well taken care of. David and Angela were very helpful in giving directions and help with local groceries, etc. It was secluded for those of us who just wanted to catch up and visit but also close enough to shopping, etc. for those who wanted that. My family particularly enjoyed the Civil War activities nearby in Franklin. The pool was wonderful during the hot days and the children loved the swings and fort to climb on, and the paths to walk on. They also enjoyed the toys that were in the upstairs bedrooms. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful location to get away. We've already discussed staying there again if it is available. Thanks, David and Angela.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.
Owner response: We've had a number of family reunions on the property. It seems ideally suited for this kind of gathering.

About the owner: We are a creative family of six, working in the entertainment industry, who moved to Nashville for some peace and quiet. We wanted to slow down and enjoy the world around us! We homeschool so we love to travel. We love to welcome new people and to help them experience the decompression of being in a beautiful natural setting.
Why the Owner Chose Nashville:
We purchased this home because of the beautiful countryside which surrounded it. The house is secluded yet welcoming. We often marvel at how, no matter the season, the countryside around us is stunning.
