Beachfront with private pool, 3 bedroom Casa de Tres Palmas is a luxurious vacation home located in the gated and secure complex of La Puntilla on the shores of Banderas Bay, about 15 miles north of the Puerto Vallarta Airport--an area that is quickly becoming known as "Riviera Nayarit".
Located between Bucerias and the fishing village of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, this beautifully furnished home has all the amenities you require for the perfect vacation in paradise.
There are security guards at the gated entrance to the complex as well as a security patrolman on the beach between the hours of 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM. As Casa de Tres Palmas is located between Bucerias and La Cruz, you will not be bothered by beach vendors or time share sales people while you enjoy your vacation.
Spacious 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath Casa de Tres Palmas has air conditioning and gleaming white marble floors throughout. The two king sized beds have pillowtop mattresses with box springs and the third bedroom has two double beds, comfortably accommodating 6 persons.
The fully equipped kitchen hs everything needed to prepare a snack for the kids or a scrumptious sit-down dinner in the dining area. There is a built in gas stainless steel barbeque on the poolside patio and plenty of space to sit down and enjoy your meal or a frosty drink. A patio table and chairs under the shaded roof overhang, and another table with an umbrella and chairs near the beach provide shaded areas to relax, enjoy a meal, or simply drink in the view!
Casa de Tres Palmas is furnished entirely in local Mexican crafted furniture. The entertainment center is an over-sized Spanish design with 31 inch color TV and Shaw Direct English language satellite service. Below the TV is a VCR and CD player. Numerous books are also available for leisure reading. The master bedroom is also on the Satillite TV system and has a VCR.
There is a high speed modem and Wi-Fi service throught the house and yard. Bring your laptop!
Casa de Tres Palmas boasts a superior water purification system plumbed throughout the house. Phone outlets and air conditioners are located in each bedroom, the living room and hallway.
Just off the patio and master bedroom the custom pool beckons you to slip into the clear sparkling water for an invigorating swim. The large private pool off the bay-side patio is complimented with a table and chairs plus ample chaise lounges and pool floats to satisfy all.
It's an easy 10 minute walk along the beach (15 minutes along the road) to the village of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle (La Cruz) with the new 400 slip upscale Marina Riviera Nayarit where there are restaurants, shops and several fresh fish markets as well as a Sunday Market. The village of La Cruz has some very good restaurants, some evening entertainment and some shopping. The town of Bucerias is a 5 to 8 minute drive/taxi ride away for many more very good restaurants, shopping and services. Downtown Puerto Vallarta is 40 to 45 minutes away, depending where you want to go. While we do recommend having a car during your stay at Casa de Tres Palmas it is not absolutely necessary as there are taxis in the village of La Cruz and the bus service is excellent with buses running every 10 minutes or so from the top of the driveway. For just a few pesos the bus will take you to all points in the Bay of Banderas.
We can help you arrange for a fishing, snorkeling or sightseeing trip around the Bay of Banderas. For a nominal fee plus the cost of the food, we can help you arrange for a local couple to come in to prepare a special meal for you. You do nothing but sit back, relax, and enjoy!
We can also help you arrange for a masseuse to come to the house for onsite massages and/or facials. A perfect way to relax for a VERY reasonable fee!
The Casa provides mid-week housekeeping service and end-of-stay cleaning, as well as gardener and pool services. Our English/Spanish speaking property mangers live in nearby La Cruz and are available to address any concerns you might have while at Casa de Tres Palmas.
Come, join us in Mexico! We would love to be your host for your honeymoon, anniversary, birthday, or just a plain kick-back, do nothing, relaxing kind of vacation.

We arrived to a beautiful, clean house in a wonderful setting. When we walked through the door we were delighted to see the house was even better than the pictures on the website. The view over the pool and ocean was spectacular. We have travelled to Mexico many times but have never had such a relaxing vacation. Everything was perfect and so beautiful. We did not rent a car but walked several times to the new marina in La Cruz and purchased fresh fish, shrimp and oysters for the meals we cooked at the casa. One day we had friends over for a visit and to spend the afternoon around the pool then we cooked a whole fish on the barbeque. We discovered the Sunday Market at the marina in La Cruz and bought some beautiful Mexican crafts and gifts to take home and picked up some delicious treats for nibbling on our walk along the beach back to the casa. The day after we arrived we took the bus to the big Mega supermarket (8 pesos), did our grocery shopping then took a taxi back to the casa. One day went to downtown Puerto Vallarta on the bus for 16 pesos. The bus was quite an adventure and so much fun and so easy. Several times we walked into La Cruz and ate some wonderful meals and listened to some great music, then took a taxi back to the casa as it was quite dark along the road. At no time did we ever feel unsafe and the local people are so friendly and helpful. We had a delicious lunch in Bucerias and met up with our friends who were staying at an all inclusive resort further along the beach. When they came to visit us at Casa de Tres Palmas they were envious of our beautiful house and our private swimming pool and they said for their next trip to Mexico they would like to book the same house, rather than be where there were so many people and always line-ups for food and sun lounges. Every night before going to bed we sat outside under the stars and when we did fall into bed we slept like logs. The bed was so comfortable--not like some beds we have slept in in Mexico. In the morning we were out of bed before sunrise, and with coffee in hand, sat at the umbrella table at the end of the pool, waiting patiently for the sun to come up over the mountains. Gloria kept the house spotless and was so friendly and spoke very good English. It was a joy to listen to the gardeners whistle and sing softly as they went about their work. It was very easy to book the house and we received loads of great information before we arrived. WE WILL BE BACK
Owner response:Thank you for your kind words. Im so glad you enjoyed your stay at Casa de Tres Palmas and in La Cruz. The fish markets at the Marina have a great selection of fish and seafood and along with all the good restaurants in the area, nobody is going to go hungry. Im glad the bus and taxis worked for you as they are so easy and inexpensive to use. Many thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you agin. Marilyn

My husband and I and my mother stayed 3 weeks in February/March 2011 and loved our stay at the casa. Everything was in great condition just as shown on the website and John and Carol were most helpful. Gloria kept the casa immaculately clean and we enjoyed talking with her. She's a delightful person. Ate at some very good restaurants. The ones I particularly recommend are: Arriba (have the chocolate or orange cake for dessert) La Cascada Dugarel's (we ate upstairs so not bothered by timeshare people) Hidden Paradise (great seafood) Las Palmas next door in Vallarta Gardens - highly recommend as wonderful food and friendly good service and so close. It's strange to get into as there are no signs. You can walk there along the beach but we drove since my mother walks with a cane and beaches are not easy for her. You turn a hard right into the Vallarta garden drive and tell security you are going to the restaurant. You then park up top and they take you down in a golf cart. Recommend any seafood dish and the rack of lamb. Great flan for dessert too. Enrique's in La Cruz. (great jumbo shrimp) Place at the Marina (I can't remember the name) Only place we did not enjoy was Frascatis as we had shrimp that were not very fresh. We liked the Sunday market in La Cruz and listening to the live music there. We also grew most attached to Canelo the La Puntilla dog. He's very well behaved and came by every day to have a visit. All in all had a wonderful totally relaxing stay. The towns Bucerias and La Cruz are fun to explore and we always felt totally safe everywhere we went. We hope to come back
Owner response:Thanks very much, Penny. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay at Casa de Tres Palmas. I'm always amazed at the number of very good restaurants in the little fishing village of La Cruz and nearby Bucerias and I'm thinking fondly of some of my favourite restaurants that you visited! Canello, the La Puntilla dog and "mascot" has been a hit with so many people over the last couple of years--especially the pet lovers. I look forward to being able to accommodate you another time. Encontramos Paraiso! What a wonderful way to experience the local people and culture. We took in La Cruz, Bucerias, Vallarta, Manzanilla, Punta Mita and Rincon de Guayabitos--the latter is highly recommended! In between, we frequented the beach, finding great shells on the two coves toward the left and saw lots of fish while snorkeling on front of the house (didn’t see any jellyfish though!)Truly a great place for a vacation. Thank you for opening your home to us.The PutnamsAustin, TX

What a wonderful vacation! The house, the location and the people have been fabulous. We took many walks along the shore and several trips into La Cruz and Puerto Vallarta. Thanks for recommending Tacos in the Street - we loved it! We even went snorkeling right here off the shore. We saw many different kinds of fish, but watch out for those little jellyfish! We took lots of photos and took in many thunderstorms at night. A good time was had by all. The Bokors & The Helpingstines Owner's Comment: Jellyfish are quite rare in the Bay of Banderas, and usually appear only in the early summer.

Hi, my name is Jessica Bokor and I just wanted to say I loved this house! The beach was great, La Cruz was great and the pool was awesome, although I was a little scared to go into the ocean because of the jellyfish. But oh well! Love, Jessica Bokor Owner's comment: Jellyfish are rare in the Bay of Banderas and usually appear only very early in the summer.
