Perfect for families, too!
Perfect for families, too!
We stayed here for one night with our friends (we both had babies at the time) and it was perfect for us. The owner was wonderful, and the house, both inside and out, had great spaces for us to relax and enjoy our time together. We were able to put the babies to bed and relax outside on the porch...just perfect for families!

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.
The house was great for our group! It was adorable and had everything we needed. Set it a very beautiful farm area with hills and pastures and woods - we went for many walks and enjoyed the natural landscape. The house has nice big tables for groups to get together and chat and play games (house is geared towards quilters and scrapbookers). The kitchen was great and we were able to bring our own food and cook everything there which saved us money and gave us more quality time together. Everything was clean, well displayed and organized. The owner was very friendly and willing to answer questions and confirmed everything in a timely manner. We had a great time!

Why the Owner Chose New Glarus:
This property was purchased in the 1990's, during which time it was an active dairy farm and sheep operation. The dairy herd was sold in 2002 and the sheep in 2008. The crop land remains in active production.
