Designed by a professional interior designer, this inviting home nestled in the trees offers comfort as well as aesthetics.....a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. An open plan allows for lively conversation and enjoyment during family gatherings. Play foosball and other games or watch movies while cooking dinner. A wood-burning fireplace creates a warm and cozy atmosphere on cold nights and an outdoor deck with BBQ grill is ideal for summer evenings. Sit and watch the deer (and occasional bear) while listening to the wind in the pines.
The house sleeps 6 comfortably. The two bedrooms have queen-sized beds and there is a pull-out sofa in the living area. A fully stocked kitchen provides all you will need to whip up a quick lunch or create a Thanksgiving feast. And, there are many books on the premises in case you have forgotten your own!
Located in Alto, NM, this house is 5 minutes from the turn off to Ski Apache, just down the road from the Spencer Theater and 10 minutes from downtown Ruidoso. You can experience outdoor recreation, shopping and culture all in one stay. Golf, hiking, casinos and horse track betting, restaurants, art galleries, antiquing and more are available within minutes. There are an endless amount of attractions and activities to keep you occupied. Or, you can just stay in, curl up with a good book and forget the world.

Why the Owner Chose Ruidoso
We inherited this house nestled in the pines in Alto, NM and could not bear to part with it. We do not live in the area, but love to visit. We enjoy the quiet, the mountain air and the smell of the pine trees. The people are friendly, there are great restaurants and art galleries as well as wonderful hiking trails.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The house is nestled in the pines in a quiet neighborhood. We love sitting on the back patio watching the deer and have occasionally seen a bear. The turn off to the ski slopes is only 1 mile away and the Spencer Theater is just up the road. Recreation and culture are easy to find!
