This new western style Swiss guest chalet was built by the owner for his personal guests. Located a short walk (5 min.) from the Mangy Moose and the heart of Teton Village. Our guest house is on a private wooded estate, and offers luxury, location, convenience, comfort and privacy for the ideal Jackson Hole vacation.
The entrance to Grand Teton National Park is one mile from the front door, Yellowstone is one hour away, and the town of Jackson is a beautiful 20 minute drive. For the outdoor lover: golfing, hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, whitewater rafting, trail rides and wildlife viewing are within minutes of the house. For the spa lover: wellness treatments are available at the Four Seasons and Snake River Resort, within minutes of the cabin. The Chalet is perfect for a couple. In the heart of Teton Village, the Chalet provided easy access to dining, walking, shopping and was surprisingly very quiet. The Chalet itself was beautifully decorated, fabulous bed,with a Rumford fireplace that we used morning and evening for ambience. The description of the Chalet is accurate and the accommodations were superbly clean and comfortable. Our dog, Gunnar, accompanied us on the trip and he also gives a "paws up" for the Chalet! Werner is absolutely a professional property owner/manager, great communicator and just fabulous to work with on the details, etc. Werner, as Porsche owners, we did look for the keys to the Carerra, but no luck! What a GREAT place to stay it's better than staying at a high end hotel.With all the amenties and then some.It felt like being home with the flat screen tv and a apple computer.The location was very good with Teton village about a 2 min walk and Grand Teton Park entrance about a 5 min drive away.The town of Jackson about a 15 min drive.We walked out one morning to see a deer in the yard by the hot-tub and para gliders floating above.The perfect place for a couple

We spent a week at this beautiful property in late June of 2011 and could not have been more pleased. It was exactly as promised; clean, tastefully decorated with luxurious rugs, a very comfortable and bed and the most beautiful hardwood floor I have ever seen in life. The location of this chalet was down a residential street with little to no traffic and quiet neighbors and was a short walk to everything that Teton Village has to offer and only a 3 min drive to Grand Teton National Park; the reason for our trip. One can see the moutains from the deck with two chairs off the dining area; a perfect spot for coffee in the morning, a good book in the afternoon, or to watch the sunset in the evening; landscaping is extensive and amazing. The hot tub is so easy to opperate and has a wonderful view... Everthing was just as promised in the description. When our flight was canceled and we had to delay our arrival until the next day we heard back from the owner within an hour reassuing us there would be no problem. The Jackson Hole area is a breathtakingly beautiful place and this property is the perfect place to stay while you enjoy the area. We could not recommend it any higher.

My wife and I stayed for a week in the summer, and would highly recommend the property. The pictures posted above, while nice, do not do it justice--the property is even more impressive in person. Excellent location, responsive property owner, and great views. The property is very comfortably furnished and decorated. Teton Village is a great spot to pick in the area, as well -- a very short distance from Grand Teton National Park, but very convenient to get to Jackson and other spots, too. Would stay in this property again in a heartbeat.

Our stay at the Chalet was everything we expected and more (very private and clean) One of the best locations available in Teton Village, affording wonderful views of the Hobacks. This is a great romantic getaway for two with the most spectacular scenery in the Jackson Hole area. Waking up in the morning to a warm fire with views of the mountains and the Aspens from every room was a special treat, It reminded me of being back in Switzerland. While enjoying our morning coffee on the patio deck, we were able to watch the para gliders fly over the Chalet from the top of Rendevous Mountain, it was awesome. The owners were very attentive to our needs. They even offer a vehicle to rent which was very convenient, without the hassle of the normal car rental experience. This is a (must do) vacation destination.
