Heather (Right) Owner of Heather's Mountain Retreat and my new best friend Mary Webb of Dillard, GA. Mary and I have become partners and best friends. I currently live in Midway Georgia and have Mary in charge of my rental property. Mary has lived in Georgia for 37 years, She has a big heart and loves to help others. If you want to know anything about Rabun County, she is the lady to call. She is married to Calvin Webb who was born and raised in Rabun County, served as Sheriffs Deputy here in Rabun for 18 years. They have been married for 16 years and are very well known and liked here in Dillard.
Why the Owner Chose Dillard
My family has owned this property for many years, After the land was given to me as a gift from my father I decided I wanted to share the gift with others that I thought would love to vacation in the mountains. I became friends with my builders secretary and she told me what a great location and home this would be to share with those who love to come to the mountains. So we have become partners and best friends. Mary Webb knows it's a great town to come to for a relaxing vacation with a lot of activities year round that include shopping, great restaurants, site seeing, waterfalls, hiking trails, antiques and much more. Black Rock Mountain State Park is only 6 Miles away.
The Unique Benefits of this Vacation Rental
I have always enjoyed the friendly people who often are out walking for exercise or walking their pets. They always speak or wave when they walk past my retreat as I am sitting on my covered deck enjoying the mountain view and a fresh brewed cup of coffee. I some times wake to the smell of the Dillard House Country ham aroma.
