This large two story Mediterranean style home is ideal for a family vacation. It is located on a very quiet street, 5-6 easy blocks from the beach. The large, private backyard features a heated pool(summer months), jacuzzi, lounge area, tropical landscape, gas barbeque, large outdoor dining area with water fall and bar, separate grassy area with a tree house, netted trampoline and an outdoor ping pong table. This home sits on a 10,500 ft lot which is large for Coronado and gives lots of privacy.
The house itself is a very airy, 5000 square feet and can sleep up to 12 people. High ceilings and large rooms make this home feel very open. The upstairs Master suit has a king bed, large sitting area, elegant bathroom with marble counters, separate shower and jacuzzi tub. Also, upstairs are an additional 3 bedrooms, one has a queen, one has a full and one has a twin. There is also a child's TV room with a a queen convertible couch. Additional twin mattresses are available to add to the upstairs rooms.
Downstairs there is a guest suite with a queen bed and bathroom with a shower. A separate exercise room with an elliptical and nice weight machine and with french doors that open onto a private front patio area. The large gourmet kitchen opens to the large family room and has commercial appliances, 2 dishwashers and large subzero refrigerator. There is a sunny kitchen nook that opens to the backyard and a 4 bar stool dining area for casual dining. An adjacent formal dining area can seat 12. The living room is large with 2 story windows and a baby grand piano.
You can park 2 cars in the garage.
We have cruiser bikes, boogie boards, a soft surfboard available for your use.

First of all, our stay in Coronado was fabulous. If your considering it....do it. Great weather, lots to do, and very relaxing. Regarding the property - stunning. A gorgeous home in a great location with tons of amenities...great for a family vacation (there were 10 of us including 4 kids). Kids will have no problem finding something to do - whether it's the tree house, trampoline, pool, games, Wii, etc. Again, the house has everything you'll need, even bikes and boogy boards. We're big on cooking, so we loved the huge, well stocked gourmet kitchen. Owner was a pleasure to work with, and the neighbor(s) were super helpful - one even baked us brownies our first day there. Wow...

Dear Bill, Thanks for the prompt return of our deposit. We will it in the bank on Monday. The house was fantastic, but you know that. The standouts for me included an extremely well stocked kitchen, and a functioning barbeque in the backyard. Having Sally next door to help in case of trouble was a big plus. Her offer of daughters for babysitting made one of our evenings much more enjoyable. Your help sheet and recommendations were spot on. Thanks also for you generosity with the two bottles of wine. I have liked Louis Martini for 40 years. It was a memorable week.

This home was a wonderful surprise. We were not expecting such a beautiful, spacious, accomodating home. The listing did not do it justice. There were 11 of us and with the bedroom suite being secluded in a private part of the house, it was perfect for the family that had a little baby who needed quiet for sleep. The kitchen was spacious and fully equiped for cooking, and the patio, with table and chairs for 12 or more was close by. The back yard provided hours of entertainment for the children, between the tree house, trampoline and pool. (We had a few foggy mornings.) Altogether, we had a wonderful time here. We actuallly rented two houses to accomodate our large family, but this was by far the favorite. I can highly recommend this rental.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
