This unit is one of very few condo located immediately next to Smather’s Beach, the largest public beach in Key West and one of the top ten beaches in the state of Florida. It features a 5th floor unit with a stunning view of the entire beach, the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico,
The beach is over ½ mile long and this unit offers a 180 degree unobstructed view of the horizon. The condo is decorated tastefully with Hemingway style furnishings. The complex is located on eight beautifully landscaped acres featuring two large lap pools, two tennis courts, perimeter security, parking, and more.
While condo rules do not permit me to advertise using the name of the condo complex, it is one of the premier, established, gated communities on the island. It’s peaceful island living with a view.
The complex is located next to the Sheraton Suites Key West. Through the Sheraton Suites Key West, there is access to services such as a restaurant, bar, tours, scooters and bike rentals, and more.
The condo complex is notable in that it absolutely did not experience any tidal flooding from the recent hurricanes. No flooding and no damage. The beach has a huge concrete breakwater that shielded the complex and effectively shunted the water elsewhere. The building is built out of steel reinforced, 12-inch block, and is very stout.
