Our group of sixteen, (three families with a total of ten young adult and teen children) has spent the past two New Year's holidays in this delightful house. Plenty of room for eveyone to spread out and have fun. Hidden Valley is a great ski area for beginners and intermediate skiers who just want to have a good time. This house is well stocked for a large group and is close to everything.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers.

My family rented this home for 5 nights beginning October 16, 2011. 13 Adults in all from across the US. Everyone loved the home. House was very comfortable as well as spacious and clean. Kitchen was great and well stocked. Home was also in a great location for all of the activities nearby. Owner was very easy to work with. This is a great home that does not disappoint in any way. Hope to be able to come back again!

We rented this property 8/13-8/21/2011 for a family vacation. My nephew and his family are leaving for Russia, where he will be the Naval Atache at the US Embassy. They will be gone for 2 1/2 years, so we wanted to get all of the neices, nephews and cousins together before they left. We had 21 people, including 8 children under the age of 9, so I was a bit aprehensive as to the prospects of surviving the week with sanity in tact. Thankfully the house was all it was advertised to be; the space provided on three levels allowed room to spread out for quiet time when necessary. We were pleased with the amenities and the thought given to small details. As far as activities, there was never a moment when the kids had nothing to do. Aside from the nearby swimming pool, they fished at a nearby trout farm, went hiking, white water rafting (float trip), kyacking at the nearby state forest and visited a local amusement park. The adults got in a couple of rounds of golf and some visited Frank Loyd Wright's Falling Water. The large deck was perfect for evening cocktail Hour(s). All in all a most enjoyable week. The house was perfect for our needs and the owner esy to work with. I would definitely recommend this propery for large group functions and will seriously consider it for a return engagement when my nephew returns from Russia.

We stayed at this house for a long weekend in May. It is a wonderful place for a large family gathering. There were ample bedrooms. The common space was spacious and comfortable. The basement was perfect for the kids to play in and gave them some separate space. We went for some long hikes nearby -- the property is close to some beautiful state parks. Hidden Valley is conducive to long walks or running a few miles. The property's description online was accurate and the photos reflect the home exactly as it is. It is clean, tastefully decorated, and well maintained. The owner was professional and responsive. It can be hard to find spacious and comfortable homes to accomodate family gatherings, but this property was perfect in that regard. We will consider renting this proprety again in the future.

We thoroughly were impressed with the fine and beautiful home. The setting is very attractive. We found the furniture very inviting. The kitchen furnishings were exceptional. Every major room had an excellent TV for those who want to use multiple TVs. The setting is very inviting and provides many place to walk or hike. It is a great place for adults and children. There are many games for both adults and children, as well as puzzles. There is also a fine pool table. I can see us wanting to rent this place in the future.
