This is a beautiful three bedroom, two bath cottage in Inlet Cove on Kiawah Island. The cottage has a full kitchen, dining room, living room and screened porch. Pool and dock on the Kiawah River are 50 yards away. The beach is a seven minute walk or a short bike ride. Inlet Cove is located on the Kiawah River and all guests have access to a dock for crabbing and fishing.
This unit is recently restored with hardwood floors throughout the living area and is very well maintained. Free WiFi. Kiawah Island is located twenty miles from historic Charleston. Inlet Cove is a private Kiawah subdivision with a security gate. Also located close to golf, tennis and other island amenities. We have a local property manager to handle any maintenance problems.

No pets/No smoking.

My friends and I planned our first trip to Kiawah and stayed in the Cove. It was an absolutely wonderful setting and housing. The location was great for waking, biking, and fishing. The photos did not do the island justice. The property was very well maintained and enjoyable. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation on island time. I did enjoy Red's restaurant about a five minute drive away. It overlooks the water and has a wonder mix of food to choose from. Overall we enjoyed our vacation immenselyRecommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything in the cabin was first-rate. It was clean and well-kept. The TV and Grill were brand new. Price was very reasonable compared to some of the other houses there. Would definitely go back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a wonderful week at this cottage. Steps away from the Kiawah River and the pool. We rented a kayak and were on the river every day, up to the inlet and down through the marsh. Encountered dolphins every day. Very nice beach was just a few minutes away by bike, and a tad longer walking. Fishing and sunsets on the pier. Walk down to the inlet and watch the dolphins feed on the fish they herd onto the shore. What a sight! Stores and the rest of the island easily accessible by bike or car. This was the perfect location for us.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We are lifelong residents of the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area. Judy is a retired teacher who now manages rental properties, and I am an attorney with a government agency in Raleigh.
Why the Owner Chose Inlet Cove:
We visited Kiawah Island many times over the years, and finally bought our place in 2006. We have friends and family who own at Kiawah or live in the Charleston area, and have found it to be a great place to visit during all seasons of the year. We think Inlet Cove is the best all-around location on the island.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
When we visit our cottage, the first thing we always do is walk down to the dock on the Kiawah River, just to refresh our memory of how beautiful the view is of the river and the marshes beyond as far as you can see. We always go for long bike rides all over the island. With 30 miles of paths, you can go a different way every time. I usually find a tennis match at the courts at West Beach Village while Judy reads a book by the pool. Even though you can find world class restaurants on the island and in Charleston, one of our favorite places to go for a great seafood lunch is Gilligan's, a local favorite on Main Road near the Savannah Highway.
