Between Saint-Affrique and the Larzac plateau, the Valley of the Sorgues has a subdued charm that hides many treasures. It is not as renowned as other aveyronnese valleys, and yet its singular beauty has always attracted noblemen and notables from Montpellier in search of authentic vacation spots. From Versols, the silhouette of the Château de Montalègre, nestled in the heart of the forest, can be seen by merely looking upwards.
This marvelous 13th century castle estate can be rented on an exclusive basis. Its total rooming capacity is 27 people: - 19 people for 7 very spacious rooms and 6 bathrooms in the castle - 8 people in 3 rooms in the cottage.
