You don’t need to live like a tourist while you visit Prague; you can live in a real apartment in the center of town. You’ll enjoy calling this apartment home. This one bedroom apartment features a modern kitchen with everything you need to cook delicious meals, including full-size stovetop and oven. The bathroom's cheery colors will make brighten your day, even if you visit Prague in the snowiest part of winter! Tired of rentals that put you and your mate in separate-but-connected twin beds? Get a good night's rest together in our queen-size bed. There is also a pull-out sofa for children or a friend. We use our apartment with our two children whenever we are in Prague, and we are very comfortable there!
Our apartment is for one couple or one family; no larger parties please. Well-behaved dogs may be allowed; please inquire first. We supply fresh linens and towels and can provide additional maid service (for a fee) if you want the apartment cleaned during your stay.
Start your day from the center of town; we are right in the Karlín neighborhood, walking distance from Old Town Square and the Municipal Building. Or, if you do not feel like taking a twenty-minute walk to Old Town Square, jump on the tram or the subway, both just down the block. You will not be jostled by tourists in this part of the city; rub shoulders with the people of Prague in a real neighborhood as you shop for rohlíky and Becherovka or have a coffee and a famous kobliha at Café Imperial. You can cook at home using local ingredients or check out some of the local restaurants.

Great apartment in Prague
Great apartment in Prague

We really enjoyed staying here. The place was lovely, clean, well-equipped. As advertised it is really both quiet and yet close and convenient to the city center with the bulk of tourist attractions. Both bed and sofa bed were very comfortable (as opposed to the extremely lumpy mattress on the extra bed on the more expensive hotel we stayed at in Vienna!). Stan was very helpful and the neighborhood was nice with shops and restaurants but not touristy - we were only able to stay three days so did not have as much time to explore as we would have if we had stayed longer, but we took some nice walks. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Prague, it is really ideal. ConnieDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This a wonderful place to stay when visiting Prague. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. The flat is located in a quiet neighborhood about a ten minute tram ride from Old Town. Tram line is 1 block away and the Metro (subway) is three blocks away. The restaurant next door was really great. It was very nice to come back to a quiet neighborhood after a long day of sightseeing. We will book this flat the next time we visit Prague, it's a real winner. I just got back from a week vacation in Prague staying in this apartment. The place was clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. The area around was calm with two beautiful parks and great transportation services, both Tram and Metro near by. Stan, the contact person for the owner, was super helpful and kind. He helped my 72 year mother with her suitcases and told us all about the apartment and its surroundings. There were many guide books and brochures in the apartment about the city. The kitchen was good, even though the refrigerator is in its last days. That was the only some how bad point. The apartment is on the first floor making it easy to access with lugage and after being out all day. We also used the cleaning services during our stay. The apartment was clean and sheets and towels changed while we were out. There are pleanty of places to buy breakfast and other meal groceries, as well as 100% no tourist but Prague residents hang outs and restaurants. I was with my 20 year old niece as well, so we used both the bed and the sofa bed, which was nice and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone on budget who wants to be close to oldtown by a short train or tram ride. Cheers, Betto.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: A new refrigerator is on its way.

I'm an American who travels to Prague a couple times a year. This apartment is nice and clean with a great kitchen, bath, and laundry. Its 2 blocks from the subway and a 30 min walk to Old Town. There's a good supermarket 2 blocks away and a good corner store for all the basics. Its in a "hip", up and coming neighborhood and with a relaxed feel and is very close to the center of town. -S. We have just spent 4 nights in this apartment. It's location was perfect, 5 minutes away by tram from the nearest subway station. We found that the neighborhood was very safe and quiet. The fact that you are living with Prague people made it even more of an interesting and different experience. We really enjoyed strolling along the main street (at the corner of the street) in the morning and observing Prague people. The apartment was very comfortable and as a bonus, Dana, the owner was extremely helpful as she gave us tips on how to best discover the beautiful city of Prague. Ibis Hotel (for breakfast) just two blocks away and Pizzeria Manna (for supper) right beside the apartment turned out to be convenient spots to begin and end our busy sightseeing days. I would definitely recommend this apartment as I would not hesitate to rent it again if ever I come back to Prague.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.
